It is amusing to see so many progressives in this thread claim to be the sole believers in science when the OP “science” is so blatantly not science. As I’m known to say, self awareness is not a progressive trait.

So you repost my post, but nothing in the way of first party testimony relevant to anything.
Being a first-hand witness to hearing someone say somebody else said something? You really think that qualifies?
I suggest you look up the legal definition of hearsay- it's very specific, and every answer I heard while watching or saw reported on news qualified as hearsay. No court anywhere allows it; will stop a witness offering it in mid-sentence, and have it stricken from the record. BECAUSE IT IS IS NOT EVIDENCE.

"science" in this sense is not meant to mean the scientific method, but rather as a way to get people to believe something labeled "science". Yet, they aren't talking about the method, but rather why people are skeptical.

Hey, if people are worried about stuff and think that science predicts something happening like the coastal states being flooded, then okay. My advice would be to move to a higher elevation. Strangely enough, these chicken littles aren't moving....

    lolololol!!!!!

So much for the chicken littles. They don't even believe themselves.

Trump is a giant middle finger from normal Americans to the entrenched (liberal) culture in Washington.

We support him, warts and all.

Why so obsessed with skin color? Did someone with a tan tickle you with a feather as a child?

Spot on! It isn't that we love Trump as much as we despise the elitist ruling class.

Trump isn't prejudiced. He just hates government bureaucrats ... whether they're white, black, green, or purple.

Within ten years, the GOP will be saying, 'WE ALWAYS SUPPORTED EFFORTS TO COMBAT CLIMATE CHANGE."

Just like cigarettes and nicotine, they will change their tune when the evidence is irrefutable. When Downtown Miami goes under water, when fracking brings about the death of thousands, in the mid west, due to contaminated ground water, when millions in third world countries dies due to lack of water and because of severe climate shifts....then the GOP will say...."The Democrats refused to do anything"

I have seen the Republican Party do it over and over in the past decades....

No they won't because climate change as defined by the kooks who promote it will be long since abandoned. Even the Democrats will acknowledge the dead end it proved to be as a means to seize power, that is if the Democrat party still exists.

Coupled with trump's appeal among the poorly educated, it's doubly dangerous.

Everyone of the witnesses in the public hearing gave first hand testimony. What they saw and heard. They didn't have to talk to Trump to see what was going on.

I'm starting to think the problem is that a certain portion of society is enamored with the wealthy. So much so that they have convinced themselves of the superiority of the wealthy, and their infallibility. Trump can do no wrong. Or otherwise god wouldn't have made him so wealthy.

No room to talk my friend, you're a Trump supporter. You voted for dishonesty and corruption as much as anybody who voted for Clinton. You have no standing, none, to accuse someone else of believing lies. You do it as much as the next person.

No one calls someone who disagrees with Trump's policy a terrorist. No one said you can't arrest me, I'm White and Trump is president. No one thought Trump would pay off our cars and houses either. No one said if you didn't vote for Trump you're a racist.

Only 1 man had first hand knowledge and he admitted it wasn’t quid pro quo. He talked with Trump. And the other man with first hand knowledge the guy Trump was supposedly bribing ALSO said he felt no pressure or demands. EVERYONE else is just claiming what they thought or what they think they heard from other people who thought they heard from someone else....ALL of them with an axe to grind. ALL OF THEM!!!! And yesterday not a single person raised their hand to state that they had any FACTS that could prove Trump bribed and forced anyone to do anything.

This whole thing is only designed to hurt him in the election and it’s backfiring!!!!! It’s so obvious how partisan it is. No facts. No proof. NOTHING. Dig that hole. Keep digging.

Their collective first hand testimony told of 391,000,000 dollars in military aid being withheld, along with the promise of an Oval Office visit in an effort to force Zelensky to make a public statement that he was investigating whatever it was Trump wanted him to say he was investigating. Mind you, no actual investigation was ever asked for, just a public statement that Trump could use for domestic political purposes. The witnesses even told of setting up a CNN interview in order to facilitate such a public statement.

The no quid pro quo comment came after the whistleblower’s complaint had become known. The money was released after Congress had been notified. In many ways, it is a continuation of the corrupt behavior with the Russians that has been evident from before he was elected.

Corrupt is corrupt, Trump has got to go.

How do you explain that liberals and conservatives have different sets of facts?
