I'm equally unsure of why you would use an ordinary use of the duties of the office as an example of authoritarianism. Just because you disagree with an act, doesn't make it authoritarian.

Your argument would label any Presidential act "authoritarian".

Meanwhile, we have a Democrat committee chairman spying on his political opposition and a member of the press. That is clearly unconstitutional.

Constitutional illiteracy won't make your argument correct. Violating the oath of office is not an "ordinary use of the duties of the office." Just because you disagree with the Constitution doesn't make violating it kosher.

As you have made perfectly clear, you either don't understand the argument or can't address it. Yes, I'll gladly label any President who circumvents the Constitutional limitations of his office for more power as an "authoritarian." Meanwhile you can't explain why God Emperor Trump should be an exception to that standard.

What law was broken and against whom?

This is true now. We have lost about 30% of our populace to the MSM / Authoritarian cult that believes the ends justify the means.

I have to agree. I have lost faith in our DOJ / Judiciary as have millions of Americans. If Barr does not have some arrests and soon, we have become a Banana Republic where the elite and Deep State get to do as they please with no repercussions. We saw it with Obama and the IRS attacking political opponents. Nothing happened to Lois Lerner. Nothing happened to those that tried to redact and destroy evidence. Nothing happened to Hillary Clinton who destroyed 30,000 emails under subpoena and now we know that 18 of them had Obama direct communications. If this is allowed, and laws are not to be followed by the elite, then why would the common American honor those same laws and pay taxes to a corrupt elite.

When I become part of an impeachment investigation, and republicans demand that all records, depositions and documents be released immediately so that 'due process' be respected, feel free to download them wherever you want. .

You should already know by now. My name will have been mentioned in the course of the investigation and depositions. All of the names you have mentioned already are.

Schiff created a new standard where members of the Press and Lawyers communications can be obtained and provided publicly without their permission. It's a dangerous world you Leftists are creating. Be careful what you support now, but it will come to bite you in the ass.

Watching Americans become like you and support such actions by an Authoritarian Government is sad. The value of our rights means little to so many of you on the Left.

Illegals have been voting at least since Dornan vs. Sanchez and nothing happened to them. We also know the dead vote Democrat on a regular basis. The Left does not care how they obtain power, as long as the seize it and tell the rest of us how we are going to live our lives.

Opposition to Big Government is now a super majority. Hence Trump.

“Record High in U.S. Say Big Government Greatest Threat, Now 72% say it is greater threat than big business or big labor”, by Jeffrey M. Jones, Gallup, 12/18/13.

But you are right about the RP offering a less than credible opposition.
RP pols will have to craft a new credible radical reform platform to achieve a final decisive victory over the DP and its ilk. But RP pols are thick as thieves with DP pols so they may never be up to the task.

This is clearly the case. You can see it here. You can hear it in the MSM.

You continue to misplace the blame, for an action of Congress, onto the President. While, you then follow with support for Schiff's violation of the fourth ammendment.

It appears that your purported defense of the Constitution is a moving target of opportunity.

I'm unable to verify that. I've only discovered a request directed to Senator Graham.

Trump took the action. And, as I've already explained, that action is not in keeping with legislation passed by Congress or the SC's decisions regarding such "mere agent" relationships. I find the President's actions blameworthy for reasons provided and largely ignored.

I've asked for the argument supporting the notion that such a violation has taken place. No one has responded.

It appears you haven't been following the posts that you've been quoting. Try again.

You keep peddling a world where individual responsibility is nonexistent. I'm not buying it. Sell it somewhere else.

Well it must have been a lawful request because this is what AT&T had to say about it

    https://talkingpointsmemo.com/news/...o-turn-over-call-records-to-congress-att-says
(and yes, I know it's TPM. But it seems as though they are the only ones to actually ask AT&T about this)
