If you mean Democrats, let me report on Liberals. They do not resemble Democrats. Democrats are the meanest and most authoritarian humans on this planet.

When will you catch on that the popular vote is not how to win the job to be president?

Democrats were the resistance instantly the moment Trump won the job as president.

Which means nothing. Since we do not use that system to elect presidents. As to your last claim, you may presume the Senate convicts. I believe the fan quits spinning in the Senate and Trump remains president. Democrats to this moment have not proven their case at all.

I think the modern Capital punishment laws are rooted in the Democrats nest rather than the Republicans homes. They are the friggin authoritarians.

Neither did Hillary Clinton. More people voted for someone other than her.

I won't argue that point though I too get annoyed at everyone putting "gold star families" on some kind of pedastal.

The family did not carry the rifles. Fact is, a lot of them were anti war.
Mitch put up with Obama for 3 years first. And that was a huge mistake.

Trump did not bash the military who died. This of course was a long standing habit with the Democrats.

I simply think we make too big a deal over people who VOLUNTEER to join the military and do their duty. My dad (pictured in my avatar) had with a few reservations, great disdain for anyone who volunteered for military service. He had a very high regard for people who served because they were drafted as he did.

If the left was hoping for a bad economy they would be supporting the reelection of Donald Trump.

I won't even begin to critique that illogical statement. It stands on it's own.

I was drafted into the Army. Frankly most Democrats posting here have no clue what military life is like. A hint? Imagine you live behind bars.

Laughable assertion you lost ground in the Senate and gained slightly more than average in the house and that's only because a bunch neocon jackasses retired.
Your entire majority in the popular can be attributed to one state CA.

I was raised by 2 dads. My birth father never spent a moment in our military during WW2. My guess is by producing 5 kids rapidly it kept him from serving.

My step father also did not serve. He was in Alaska when war commenced and was constructing an important naval base at Dutch Harbor and I suppose since he was doing war duty, the military did not draft him.

Dad's youngest Brother Don was drafted into the Truman Army and though was sent to Korea, the war was then over for our men fighting wars. Sam was my Dads just younger brother and to be honest , he nor the family said he was in our military either. And this guy was 6-4 and powerful. He could have B slapped any Japanese he would have encountered.

My dad was drafted into the Army in 1950. Induction at Fort Chaffee, Arkansas and then trained in California. Ultimately became an artillery unit noncom (Sargent, 155 mm. howitzer unit). He went from California to Hawaii to Japan and then to South Korea. Spent 9 months in front line combat. Earned his 36 rotation points and was sent home.

But not before suffering severe damage to his hearing in one ear that lasted the rest of his life. I can't count the number of times I drove him to the VA for consultation and treatment over the years.
