    Why leave out BDS?

Also regulators are soon going to let the Max continue and the order backlog get produced and delivered.

So the government buys what Boeing sells. That’s different than a cash subsidy for Airbus.

Doesnt change the fact that almost no new orders go in but airbus wins contract over contract.

And no, regulators are not soom going to ket max continue. European EASA says it doesnt trust FAA anymore and will do its own check. Beside that the Max renomee is so ruined. I would never step in one, passengers here active ask what aircraft they fly in. Airlines here make PR commercials boasting to not have max in their fleet.

    Says it all.

Its same as cash subsidies. Why doesnt your government order Airbus? No competition is a subsidie.

EASA is a paper lion. If the FAA give it ago I hundred percent guarantee EASA follows.

No new orders like this one?

    https://boeing.mediaroom.com/2019-1...ign-Order-for-10-Additional-737-MAX-Airplanes

That’s rich coming from a country known for losing. I would not like the country they kicked our ass twice either!

EASA will not follow. Even more so it was made public that it will not follow FAA. You seem to appear the very fact how much we profit from distance with USA. EASA banned MAX from flying, a step tgat forced FAA to do same a day later.

My country known for losing? We win quite regulary. In trade for example. We wipe the floor with you. We also win wars since hundreds of years. My school building is older than your country. If you talk about ww i and ii, in both wars USA was barely involved. We killed more enemies than we had population.

And no, i did not like USA, because it was dirty there, had lack of service and we had a crapy experience there. You could learn from Chile and Peru, they have the better tourism product.

I come from a nation with better infrastructure. I expect the level we have in Germany and USA could not deliver the level we have here. Starting from your bad streets, your pathetic speed limits, the laughable mobile net. No highspeed trains either.

And cute to bring up a 10 aircraft order while Airbus wins 500 ones.

Well I don't purposely go to a forum/site of a foreign country and bad mouth their country, leaders, people and ideology either. Hell I don't believe I have even looked in on any of the rooms on PF under "Politics by Region". If I posted like our visitors do in the U.S. section I'd hope to be flagged as a troll and dealt with accordingly..

I simply don't see the purpose of going out of my way to insult them, their way of life or politics.. ¯\_(º¸º)_/¯

I don't see any sections here marked as U.S. only. While the site does predominantly have American users, it isn't a hard and fast rule.

That said, Americans have as many opinions about other countries as the citizens of other countries have about the U.S. While you yourself may limit your comments about how other countries conduct themselves, that's probably a minority opinion on how to do things.

I just don't see the problem really. The actions this country takes, even on domestic issues, can have worldwide implications.

No but you will find a entire section dedicated to

    Politics by Region

Must be a reason behind that, right, including a thread called
    United States¯\_(º¸º)_/¯

Germany and USA were allied and turn now enemies in recent years more and more. That affects both nations. Some of Trumps retarded decissions activey help us to keep the upper hand in that game and thus i dont see your point.

We win on all fronts and thats good.

And its an active business decission. I fly to Brisbane next September with my girl. I planned to use Emirates, because we did fly Australia with them in 2018 on an A380. When we checked booking system we saw they operate only from Frankfurt to Dubai an A 380 and from Dubai to Brisbane in Boeing 777. We chose Singapore Airlines then. Its 200 € more expensive but A380 from Frankfurt to Singapore and from there to Brisbane its a A350.

And now it also spreads to the big jets area

    https://articles2.marketrealist.com/2019/11/boeing-loses-huge-aircraft-order-to-airbus/

Boeing (BA) has reportedly lost a huge aircraft order to Airbus. According to Reuters, General Electric (GE) aircraft leasing subsidiary GECAS (GE Capital Aviation Services) has ordered 25 Airbus planes. Reuters reported that GE and Airbus have both declined to comment on the matter.

    Boeing’s declining 787 order backlog
Reuters gave no clarification about the value of the deal but did mention that the order includes 12 Airbus A330neo jets. If the story is correct, Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner program could be dealt a big blow. Since its 787 Dreamliner program started in 2007, Boeing has received 1,450 orders for the aircraft. As of September 20, it had delivered 894 planes and had 556 unfilled orders.

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Airbus A330neo, with seating capacities of 242–330 and 250–300, respectively, compete in the midrange wide-body aircraft market. Demand for Boeing’s wide-body 787 Dreamliner has softened over the last year, and with its latest quarterly release, Boeing said US-China trade tensions are impacting its aircraft orders.

China once accounted for one in four of Boeing’s orders. However, due to trade tensions between the world’s two largest economies, Boeing hadn’t received a single request from China since November 2017. The aircraft manufacturer was dealt another blow in September when Russia-based Aeroflot canceled a $5.5 billion order for 22 Dreamliners.

Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner order decline isn’t its only problem. Its 737 MAX aircraft have been banned from flying since mid-March following two deadly crashes. Since then, global carriers are neither taking deliveries nor placing orders for 737 MAXs. The MAX was once Boeing’s fastest-selling aircraft, accounting for nearly 70% of its overall requests.

In September, Boeing recorded 25 net commercial jet orders, compared with -84 from January to September. The difference was mainly due to Jet Airways’ 200-aircraft order cancelation.

Meanwhile, Airbus booked 41 net orders in September and 127 from January to September. And in October, Airbus received 415 aircraft orders. The figure includes a record 300-plane order from IndiGo. That substantial order brought Airbus’s January–October order tally to 718 aircraft, and to 542 after adjusting for cancelations.

The ongoing Boeing MAX crisis is proving to be a boon for Airbus. Last month, the European planemaker received 100 orders for its narrow-body aircraft from low-cost US carrier Spirit Airlines (SAVE).
