You hope it does. So far that is hearsay news from an anon source. There is also the other DOJ (Durham) investigation going and that isn't covered in the DOJ OIG report. The Dems just gave the impeachment issue to the Senate and a perfect opportunity to drag Biden and his son (and Nobama) through the mud with a ton of credible evidence about Ukraine. Most of the evidence that the Dems presented in their hoax hearing won't meet the requirements for the federal rules of evidence. You can write Biden off the ticket. The Democrats just bent him over for a major pounding sensation in his arse. Stupid move on the part of the Democrats. They couldn't have screwed themselves more if they tried.

    Federal Rules of Evidence

These are the Federal Rules of Evidence, as amended to December 1, 2019.

So articles of impeachment for what? Oh yeah, imagined crimes and misdemeanors.

That's a pipe dream and you know it. Even Cory Gardener, the most vulnerable GOP Senator, is against the impeachment. He even cosponsored a bill condemning the impeachment proceedings by the Democrats. It won't happen the way you want it to.

"Gardner, a Yuma Republican who faces a tough re-election fight in 2020, is one of 50 Senate Republicans to co-sponsor the measure crafted by Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky. It was Graham who announced Gardner had signed on Friday afternoon."

I can wait for things to play out.

Any "speculatuon" as to how it will work in the Senate is an exercise in futility.

Not really. It's a foregone conclusion since the dem clown show is rushing this and not following protocol. There is no way the democrats will convince 20 republicans to vote for impeachment in the Senate. All the dem clown show has done is solidify republican support.

Everybody KNOWS that there is ZERO chance for conviction.

That has always been the case.

...which is exactly what she did.

I know Pelosi & Co. are desperately trying to blow smoke around the investigation surrounding their first failed attempt to steal what they couldn't earn at the ballot box in 2016, but I don't think they realize that having that blow up in their faces at the same time they're trying to steal what they couldn't earn at the ballot box in 2016 again only makes them look worse.

Oh well, that's life in the Dem Sensory Deprivation Tank - oblivious and clueless...

In other words, impeachment for accusations, which is all the pooh-flinging monkeys in the House have.

Obviously, the Alinskyites in the AntiDemocratic party have gotten the laughable idea into their little heads that mere accusations are sufficient to convict anyone of anything in this country, but clearly that isn't working for them. It may provide them and their base temporary relief from TDS, but it didn't keep justices Thomas and Kavanaugh off the SC bench, it didn't keep Trump from winning the 2016 election, it didn't enable their "insurance policy" succeed afterwards and it's not going to enable them to steal what they couldn't earn at the ballot box now.

Yes, we will all have to continue to see Democrats 'stir the pot' and watch what will certainly be an impeachment. All they needed was a simple majority to impeach Trump -- for any reason imaginable!

But the Senate? As the children say, it will be an "EPIC FAIL".

Prediction: not ONE Republican House member will vote for impeachment, and, not ONE Republican Senator will vote for removal.

All that will be accomplished is the almost total waste of time and effort of the entire Congress for months while it screwed around with this radical-Democrat fantasy about removing Trump from office for no REAL REASON at all! Meanwhile, they didn't even bother to look at the REAL "Mount Everest" of the 'quid pro quo' corruption -- GERIATRIC JOE BIDEN!

I laugh every time I see one of them say "Obstruction of Congress" it really shows how uneducated they really are.

How can Schiff not testify? He wanted this, and this is part of it. Anyone on the left who refuses to testify, to include the whistle blower, Biden, Schiff or anyone else called is simply screaming this is nothing but a farce. You don't get to ask for impeachment then refuse to participate because you were too stupid to understand the full implications. If Dems really are dumb enough vote for impeachment they will lose the House in 2020...

democrats appear to have plotted to go down with their ship, and unfortunately take as many as they can with them.

The Senate may very well dismiss the bogus impeachment as their first act. Just saying.

I suppose Schiff could 'plead the protection of the 5th Amendment, but that would be even more stupid than the Democrats starting this impeachment 'circle-jerk' in the first place! Nevertheless, if he is the object of a congressional subpoena, he (or one of his lawyers) MUST show their faces....

If he does that, that will really show that this whole thing is just a move against Trump
