Watching far left professors discuss a second civil war is painful and necessary

I think it's kind of funny towards these people blathering about Civil War.

Civil War is fraught with extreme hardship. Hardship that is so extreme it would seem foreign to us.

This is a culture that if the Wi-Fi's out for 30 minutes they lose their minds.

 

Only people I ever hear bring it up are on the left.

Which is kind of funny these people are typically very soft.

 

Some radical conservatives project a lot.. I think its their way of justifying ranting and raving.

 

This video there interviewing two professors it was 16 minutes in before someone mentioned white privilege. That being said I don't think that's something that anybody on the right believes in.

These are professors not The lunatic Fringe In tinfoil hats. This is almost strictly left.

There are no woke folk in military. our oh so patriotic leftist have verbally attacked and smeared the military since Vietnam and when you haven't been doing that you saddled them with unworkable and dangerous rules of engagement that got our soldiers killed and made it all but impossible to accomplish their mission. Your error, as has already been pointed out and apparently needs repeating, is in thinking that servicemen from overwhelmingly red counties, and states that would be overwhelmingly red -but for- a large blue population center or two, count as all blue and willing to fire on civilians. They aren't, they won't, and most especially the guard and reserves aren't and won't. Nor will the police. Keep in mind the political composition of this country by geography and not population because large population concentrations would be nothing other than a liability in any kind of catastrophic civil unrest, Civil War or other. You will need to select the "results by county" from the link to get a very clear picture of what percentage of the U.S. is politically red v blue in geographical terms.

Idle speculation on a second Civil War is foolhardy hot air IMO, unless fundamental changes like removing the Electoral College ever come to pass. However, if some widespread civil unrest ever did revisit the U.S., I'll be much happier facing it in a county with a population of 100,000 than a city with a population of 8 million.

The near immediate result of another "Civil War" or equivalent would be a massive, near instantaneous die off of large city dwellers regardless of their politics. I don't think anyone of any political stripe would find that claim particularly controversial, but believe as you like.
