Nope. The IRS checks if the filings are accurate and compliant with tax law. Those forms may be evidence for crimes or other non criminal activity that could be relevant to his role as president.
The IRS doesn’t investigate those things.

Congress is seeking them as part of the oversight of the presidential audit program. No impropriety does not mean that Congress is seeking them improperly.

We have already seen "property values" turn into a conspiracy theory and a simple two page tax summary that as supposed to doom Trump turn out to be nothing.

God and the IRS only know how many pages a decade of taxes Trump would have had filed by his accounting team.

 

There's a 'presidential audit program'? Why wasn't Obama's records(including medical and school) subponea'd? We HAVE to know, right?

I suspect this so-called program arose in the aftermath of the Trump presidency, like everything else resistance.
