Well then, you better prepare for your demise because I can garantee you that nobody, NOBODY, will reduce its emission by 45%, especially not the two worst polluter on the planet China and India.

You can go ahead and go live in a mud shack weaving baskets if you want, but I sure won't.

That is not innate. It is innate to want to protect your offspring. What may best protect yourself and your offspring which is superficially about protecting their wealth, and job, and their opportunities and their economic security in a developed country. What is best to protect yourself and your kids and what protects the planet may be opposites. Our species is capable of thinking and sometimes even responding to very long term and abstract threats to the immediate detriment of our own kids, but our innate instinct is to protect ourselves and our kids from risks involving sacrifice and change.

What is required to fight this threat, is very radical change in a short period of time, it will involve a lot of sacrifice for the next two generations whether we have comparable options available or not . People will lose a lot of jobs and forced to change wasteful and convenient lifestyles to more austere ones quickly and they won't be permitted to commute to new ones . This will be involve major dislocation and migration.

Our innate instinct is to protect what we have for our kids, and to hoard finite and scarce resources, not to share them. I honestly think this is one threat that democracies and democratic republics are poorly suited to respond to threat because what will be required will be draconian and politicians do not survive who legislate and enforce the draconian.

It's bad for everyone for for the collective to make demands of individuals.

She's a hypocrite globe trotting around the world at the expense of the climate, then puking her venom on the international community, truly and honestly. How dare she?

This is a pretty accurate video of where we are. It is our choice but there is no time left for inaction.

Please google the number of coal-fired plants being built in India and China vs the US.

You'll find that efforts to reduce climate impact in the US may be laudable, but they are irrelevant

Strong voice? Seriously? As with many things, certain groups are trying to make her relevant, and as with others they have attempted this with, she will fade from sight.

She stands out, only as a sad reminder that people use other people for their own gains. She is apparently utterly clueless on this.
