Wheee! I am not going to waste my time with that question. Part of the reason, I'm laughing so hard.

As expected, all but one Trump fan ignored this vital piece of the evidence, and his reply was a joke. Trump's fans ignore the evidence, then say Trump is innocent because there is no evidence.

No one has proved in has usuallyprovided evidence of thatan actual crime. In that case attorney for the defense moves for dismissal the judge grants it, and everyone goes home.

Yes, they can absolutely dismiss it with 51 votes.
    Impeachment is still successful
Holding a trial, especially calling trump to testify would likely backfire — bigly — so this is definitely a possibility.

What are we sitting back and taking though?
The Senate majority leader (the jury) is coordinating with the defendant, can’t be much more of a farce than that.

Not until the criminal trials start for Obama, Clinton, Comey, Brennan, Schiff and both Bidens.

    Oh, so never. Ok
Republicans in congress suck with investigations. They had, what, a dozen into Clinton with zero charges.
Democrats have had two. One was called a sham witch hunt that resulted in dozens of arrests and the other is leading to impeachment.
    Maybe Republicans should take notes?

So democrats are responsible for republicans as long as you label them as “neocon”?
Ok, whatever tickles your pickle I guess.

Another complication. By agreeing to hear arguments on Trump's taxes the Supreme Court has delayed their release. This means that much of the information needed to prove Trump's guilt or innocence will come out in the spring when his taxes are released and his people compelled to testify. How bad are they, the 35 running for office in 2020, going to get beat up if they vote to acquit and then his taxes are released and the various documents and personnel get turned over for testimony and it turns out that they leave absolutely no doubt whatsoever? A dangerous position they are in. They really should at the least call in Rudy, Mulvaney and Pompeo and the withheld documents to cover their butts on the obstruction of justice charge. There are only 18 Republican senators not up for re-election.

    "Hi everybody, I'm Moscow Mitch!"
"Hi, Moscow. Are we going to get a fair trial?"
"You betcha. I just gotta co-ordinate with the defense first."
"Isn't that stacking the books against the prosecution?"
"Not for me it ain't. I'm Moscow Mitch. Now beat it!"

    Political process - remember?
You should have thought about that before you decided you wanted to impeach him.

Just the federal crimes of perjury and obstruction of justice - both of which the Democrats told us do not rise to the level of impeachable offenses.

And it should and will be made achingly apparent that the “support” in the Senate for Trump is based not on law or the Constitution but rather pure partisan politics

Democrats have flip flopped all over about this..... "Impeachment is a Political process not a criminal trial" ........ "Can you image not following a subpoena or defendant having a strategy session with the jury"

Which is it? a Political process or a criminal trial because it cant be either depending on if it helps ones position

Liberals/Democrats reflexively take whatever position they believe will better further their agenda - even if it means taking the position opposite of the one they took yesterday.

That's -exactly- what they're doing here.
