    Yeah, that would be a "No". Gabbard campaigned with Socialist Sanders after resigning as VP of the DNC. The 3 (Trump, Sanders, and Gabbard) are Populists against the current political elites, but two are Socialist-Populists and our president is a Nationalist-Populist.

    Responding to the citizens' desires to disrupt and reform the Washington DC status-quo does give Populists at both ends some common ground though.

    she is also really stupid and a good reminder why she was not elected by the American people. If she asks nicely, Trump might let her sit behind the desk and pretend she is President and then treat her to an ice cream cone.

    This option has ALREADY been discussed (several times) among the Dem. Caucus...

    ...And NOW (as then) it is a complete non-starter...:flagus:

    Censure is a no-go, they have to proceed with peach mint to have a prayer of not getting totally shellacked with "muhrussia" and "FISA abuse" backlash during the campaign.

    If the House does not vote for impeachment, we could very well be seeing the end of the Democratic Party, and the reorientation of the Complex behind a "new and improved" third party. I don't make such a prediction lightly.

    Nope. We like Tulsi because she's genuine and not batshyt crazy. But shes still a gungrabber. Thats a non-starter for most Trump voters. She's also still far more of a nanny-state socialist (though far less than many of her coleagues). She won't be getting many Trump votes. And she's smart enough to know that.

    Though I reckon she ends up with a lot of Independent support by splitting from the stark raving lunacy of the progressive establishment.

    That's a very interesting thought. If Trump ever needs a Secretary of Defense, a National Security Advisor, or a Director of an intelligence agency, she would be a good choice.

    They disagree on many domestic issues, but they are very, very similar on matters of national defense. Plus she's got the background to put her into positions like these.
