Be a shame if a drone rendered it useless wouldn’t it?

Yes that would indeed be a shame. Would also be a shame if the 737 MAX gets no new flight permission in the EU and with that is blocked worldwide.

Would also be a shame if your Keystone pipeline blows up. Stuff happenes.
And because of that, no Drone will attack our Pipeline. :)

We currently develop a robot here that can 3D print bases on the solar surface. Its able to make 2square meters wall per hour.

The moon is a far better 1st base than Mars.

Btw what you say about our planned mission to Europa? Thats actually the mission im most excited about

Callisto is much more of interest to me than Europa. The radiation levels on Europa are way too high and always will be.

Yes but Europa has enormous potential to harbor life. The radiation doesnt penetrate the ice shield.

So far we dont know if Callisto has similar ocean.

Your apparent lack of both depth and breadth in accurately assessing either the Bundesrepublik Deutschland OR the Russian Federation in contexts relevant to today is almost laughable in its utter lack of veracity....

You make incorrect assumptions, as though this were still the 1970's, when we feared that Soviet and NVA forces would barge into West Germany all the way to the French border -- and then with that as your 'undergirding' you construct these fanciful ideas about today's reality is, while missing so many facts.

Rather than try to list a compendium of all that you have flat-out wrong (a LOT has changed in the past 50 years) in 2019, I'll try to inform you of two simple things:

    1. Soviet Premier Khrushchev 'transferred' control of Crimea to the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic in 1954 -- entirely within the sphere of constituent 'republics' that formed the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR)! Crimea itself was a part of "Russia" since 1783, home of the Russian Navy "Black Fleet" at Sevastopol, and guarantor of free, unrestricted passage of all naval vessels through the Bosporus and Dardanelles Straits which provide access to Russia's only year-around, warm-water ports.

When the coup by a militant faction in Kiev against its own legitimate government occurred in 2014, the ethnic Russians in Crimea and throughout the eastern "Donbass" region of Ukraine feared they would be massacred by the coup's military forces. The existence of the Russian Navy's Black Fleet was also under direct threat from this coup, so, 'right-or-wrong', Putin took Crimea back from Ukraine, and projected a de facto zone of 'protection' over the Donbass. All politics aside, Russia has not made any subsequent attempt to 'take over' anything else inside Ukraine, even though it could do so in a matter of days....

End of history lesson -- you either 'get it', or you don't.

    2. Your knowledge of the current economic situation in Russia is obviously limited to what you hear from agit-prop spinners in 'the West'. Everybody knows that the stock markets in here in the U. S. are at record highs -- but, did you know this?
"The Russian Stock Market is the Best Performer in the World in 2019
Investors in the MSCI Russia Index have booked a 44% profit since the start of the year.
    "
    https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2019/11/13/russian-stock-market-best-performer-world-2019-a68150

Or, if you don't like "The Moscow Times", would you trust Forbes? Link: https://www.forbes.com/sites/kenrap...k-market-keeps-breaking-records/#21907c5f4232 . This stunning advance has been going on all year long....

One last point -- this has all happened in spite of the "sanctions"! Now -- how much fear do logical people imagine that Russians and/or Germans might have concerning "sanctions"...? Whatever your subjective opinions are about any of this, never forget ONE thing -- Vladimir Putin (love him or hate him) has a Ph.D in ECONOMICS.... Surprised? :omg:

Do you think what was in 1783 gave your beloved Pootin the right to seize Crimea again? :D But obviously he thinks so. He wants to rebuild his old SU bit by bit through land grabbing.

Yep it was all about the naval base one they had a treaty with Ukraine about as well.. The coup happened because a ELECTED President wanted a deal with Russia over the EU..

Why are simple facts always left out?( not from you)

Lions, Tigers and Bears! Oh My!

WORST PUTIN PUPPET EVER: U.S. Sanctions Halt Work on Russia’s Gas Pipeline to Europe: The pause comes hours after President Trump signed a bill targeting entities working on the project.

U.S. sanctions have temporarily stopped the construction of a pipeline that is set to increase the flow of natural gas directly from Russia to Germany under the Baltic Sea.

The sanctions would target all businesses and individuals participating in the construction of the pipeline and would effectively cut off those companies from doing business in the U.S. or with U.S.-linked companies. Washington has long opposed the project on grounds that it would increase Germany’s and Europe’s dependence on Russian energy.

Washington has long opposed, but Trump has disposed.

You can either do business with US, or you can do business with Putin. What you can't do, is do business with Putin, while relying on our military to defend you from Putin.

Just about the kind of low-brow, inconsequential kind of reply I expected. Why do I waste my time...?

Well... to put it, then, in terms you'll understand, Putin's GOT Crimea and nobody's going to take it away from Russia again. Moreover, Russia is going to sell Germany natural gas through the Nordstream 2 pipeline and nobody's going to stop that, either.

I have no 'love' for Vladimir Putin, but only a damned FOOL fails to properly regard the mentality and power of an opponent as smart, experienced, capable, and innately intelligent as this man has proven himself to be.

    Does Greta know this?
Demonstrators, who said the project would be more detrimental to the environment than the authorities had claimed, began skateboarding inside the pipes.

Police said at least five people had occupied the pipes near Wrangelsburg in northern Germany.

We'll simply leave you to the tender mercies of Greta.

The work is halted until the Fortuna arrives at the scene. Our government says it will be completed at January 11th.

We can do business with whoever we want. We are a free nation.

    Greta can kiss our ass.

I asked you a question, since the completion cant be stopped, will you USA do a terror attack against it?

For Germany the completion of the pipeline is uttermost importance as symbol that nobody dictates our energy needs.

So what will USA reaction be when the pipeline is completed? Terror attack?

Our government now also checks for counter sanctions

    https://www.zdf.de/nachrichten/heute/gegen-nord-stream-2-regierung-prueft-us-sanktionen-100.html

There are two sides here. One side says to ignore the american bullshit and simply continue to finalize it. The other side says to finanlize it but install counter sanctions.

Will be interesting to see. My guess is, that LNG is dead now in Germany. Germany has no LNG Terminal yet. To ship LNG to Germany, there need to be a LNG Terminal. An elegant solution is to delay contruction of an LNG terminal. That way USA is blocked out of the market but official no counter sanctions are issued. Very elegant way.

I did read it. It was bullshit though. I doubt a country with so much vulnerable infrastructure like USA would attack an allied nations infrastructure.

Russia has often used its natural gas as a pressure medium against the neighboring countries. Therefore, many countries are against the pipeline, not just the United States.

Some Baltic States buy LPG from Qatar, just to not become dependent on the Russkies, even it is more expensive. Poland obtains liquified gas from the United States.

It is just an act of utmost arrogance and stupidity.

That pipeline will be finished, no matter what the US does.
But the US can probably kiss a LNG deal good by.

Just some holiday trolling my German friend. You may dislike the American people but I have deep fondness in my heart for every Western European country (including Germany). Have a Fröhliche Weihnachten.

So Pootin has you in a stranglehold. Poor stupid Germans. You'll fall on your nose again, as always. Anyone who sees Russia as friend doesn't know anything about enemies.
