We had no business in Iraq, we had no business overthrowing Mossadeq in Iran. We had no business establishing Isreal, We should have carved out a part of Germany and Poland for the Jews. It was the Europeans who tried to exterminate the jews not the arabs. The arabs let the jews for 1000 years have access to the holy land.

We should go for a total reset of our foreign policy in the region. Why can't we be friends with Iran? Why do we have to treat them as an enemy?

Why does Iran hate us? Why do we have sanctions that hurt their people? We are the ones who put the shah in power and backed him during his murderous reign. We threaten them militarily and then complain about them wanting to go nuclear as a deterrent to our aggression.

People and countries don't react well to ulitmatums and force. Iran is not some 3rd power like Iraq.
