Your need to malign better-educated younger Americans and your bias against news media is noted.

The less-educated, older White voters who still support Trump have every right to do so without being demeaned.

Are advanced nations becoming better-educated? Indeed.

"The expression "comparing apples and oranges" is a commonly used idiom. The phrase refers to the comparison of two objects, groups or ideas that are different enough from each other that comparing them seems erroneous."

Trump-ism: A religious cult whose members are most frequently identified by their daily ritual of placing their heads where the sun don’t shine. Non-cult members are referred to as “Trump haters” in much the same way that the Christian cult labels non-Christians “heathens”.
Likewise the Trumpists and the Christians believe non-followers will be condemned to a place called “hell” if they do not except Trumpian doctrine, which is based on what they call “alternative facts”.
It is not yet clear whether “hell” is an imaginary place or an actual location.
But both Trumpists and Christians seem to indicate it is somewhere below which has led some to theorize that the word “hell” may have some connection to the Trumpian head placement ritual described above.

Too many similarities to call them "apples and oranges".
Unless you are implying they are both fruits.

I see OP is now appealing to nationalism as a goal, with the latest "most educated countries" idiocy, even more stupid than the "most educated states" malarkey, as the top countries on that list are also among the more homogeneous in culture, racial makeup and intrinsic nationalism. Irony. I don't quite share OP's apparent nationalistic zeal to the same degree, but sure, maybe the U.S. could stand to become more racially and culturally "pure" as those higher ranked countries in striving to be "more educated." LOL.

While it is to be expected, resentment of the empirical reality concerning a significant correlation between level of education and ideological disposition is inappropriate. The data simply is what it is and implies derogation of no one.

Meanwhile, white evangelicals are being reminded of Christian values, so antithetical to Trumpery:
This evangelical pastor's moral exhortation may amount to the voice of one crying in the wilderness, but speaking truth to power is not a calculus but a responsibility.

Clearly, Pastor Ryerse's call to embrace Christianity and reject Trumpery is not eliciting a mass conversion of white evangelicals:

Christians are proselytizing white evangelicals who have been seduced by Trumpery, exhorting them to return to the faith.
"I was raised in the evangelical world and was taught to take the words of Jesus seriously: Love God, love your neighbor, feed the hungry, fight against injustice," he continued. “This song might ruffle some feathers, but maybe some feathers need to be ruffled."

Some repentant evangelicals are calling for a return to Christian values despite the zealots who have abandoned them for Trumpery.
