It takes seven people. One to change the bulb and six to pray away the darkness.:)

It would probably mean that private citizens won't be selling any guns to other private citizens. They could sell them back to stores, who do background checks.

The laws don't work when comparing the massacres to other western nations with similar morals.
The laws relating to vehicles do seem to work.

Because the people in the US have a massive problem with mass shootings when they are directly involved in the crisis. Why do you need this to be explained?

Or the last known owner could simply claim they did not sell the firearm to the suspect in question but rather someone else, thus meaning the case will proceed no further than that, as there will be no way of disproving the claim, even if it is fraudulent.

Who could then sell it to someone with no disqualifying criminal record, who went on to use it in the commission of a mass shooting, just as other mass shooters have done. How is such an outcome preferrable?

The united states is not like any other western nation in the world. It has far more in common with the nation of Mexico.

If such is truly the case, why are motor vehicles responsible for as many if not more deaths than firearms?

Are these mass shootings considered legal activity that can be engaged in freely without violating any laws? Or is the use of a firearm for the purpose of committing harm to others already criminalized under all circumstances?

There is no prohibition in Chicago.

There is no prohibition in Illinois.

I celebrate that the mass shooting was prevented. I am grateful to the armed church members who involved themselves.

Not anymore. But prior to the McDonald ruling, there was a total prohibition on handgun possession and ownership within the city of Chicago. No private citizen was allowed to own or possess a handgun under any circumstances. And for thirty years handguns were used in the commission of nearly one hundred percent of their murders.

    Meaningless and irrelevant.

And the police would never check out that story. Sure. lol

Than the qualifications need to be altered.

Mexico isn't even a 1st world nation. So you go source that opinion.

People drive in cars for hours and hours, by the 10's of millions every day in the US.
Are you not aware of this, and that people do not shoot by the 10 millions a day with their guns for hours and hours?

I asked you a question, and you do not reply but instead you are asking me 2 more questions. How rude.

Not if the gun was a sawed off shotgun, no he could not legally purchased it anywhere, anytime, without having applied for a tax stamp for a NFA item from the ATF.

And yes "gun violence" is certainly acceptable when applied against criminals. A rapist being shot to death by his intended victim is socially acceptable, as an example.

If one claims to have sold the firearm to someone who is not the suspect, but cannot recall their name, there are no further leads to follow up on. In case it was not known on the part of yourself, the resources of law enforcement in the united states are quite finite.

    To what precisely? Be specific.

And neither is the united states.

Those who legally carry firearms throughout their daily activities, are in in fact in possession and use of their firearms just as much as those who operate motor vehicles. Simply because it is not being fired does not mean it is not being used.

It is apparently not understood on the part of yourself that something being outlawed, that being the use of a firearm for the purpose of causing harm and death to others, is already regarded as being socially unacceptable. Therefore these questions are necessary for the purpose of a rudimentary education being delivered.

Do you know of any legal shotgun with a legal barrel length that you could sit down in a pew with and have the shotgun remain undetected?

It was an equal opportunity mass shooting attempt. One of the victims is Anton Wallace, 64, a registered nurse and deacon who happened to be black. He had just completed passing out the Lord's Supper. There's a new name written down in glory.

It’s cute you believe the people could stand against our military.

What do I need to think about?
I support responsible gun ownership, I just think it is absurd to call any area in the US a “gun free zone”.

I like the much maligned Judge. The KSG I'm scared to ask the price.

Well there are plenty of bars that don't allow guns on the premises, especially around Ft Hood, Killeen, TX.

This is another case of mental illness.

My Dad had a Judge, shot a 2x4 with .00 and performance was dismal, he got rid of it immediately.

I just looked at Buds Gun Shop and they have a KSG for $430. Good price.

It's not the bars choice. Texas law requires it.
    -------------------------------
"The second sign, the 51% sign, is to be posted on the premises of establishments where the possession of any concealed weapon is illegal. These are establishments that are licensed to sell alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption whose alcohol sales constitutes more than half of gross receipts. These signs have 51% in large red letters superimposed over the warning and the warning notes that possession of a concealed weapon on the premises is a felony."
