    Making great looking Ice Cubes is no piece of cake.In fact,it's very
    tricky.Especially when relying on a Refrigerators Ice Making tray.
    Plus of course using tap water { is the water filter clean or is it Hard Water }.
    That is why Icicles often look really clear.Because they rely on rain/snow
    which is soft water.Unless living in a big city where air pollution is a problem.
    Plus Ice Cubes can make one sick since many viruses are not
    immune to freezing.So when using an ice tray make sure it is clean
    and don't store in the freezer where old frozen items have been left too
    long.Be careful not to handle ice cubes with dirty paws.I am always amazed
    at how many scenes in a movie show the characters handling ice cubes
    with their hands as if totally assured as to the safety.Not so.
    Same thing with bar scenes where patrons cram their paws into the
    peanut tray as if No Biggie.Whose paws have been in that peanut dish.?
    Where have those paws been.I know this all sounds really unmanly and
    squeamish.But coming down with a cold or flu is kinda easy to prevent.
    Very easy to catch however.
    In 2013 an outbreak of Norovirus caused by dirty ice cubes
    at a golf course in Phoenix sickened 80 people.

    Do I denote a noticeable likeness to Gator { Burt Reynolds } who once
    was a budding Football standout { All Star Southern Conference Halfback }
    at Florida State { The Baltimore Colts were scouting him } ?
    I never Like Burt Reynolds and think it strange that he felt the need
    to play the character Jack Horner { Boogie Nights }.It somewhat fit
    Reynolds since his entire Acting career was built around being macho,
    cool and a chick-magnet.I have his earliest acting chops role
    in Alfred Hitchcock Presents - Escape to Sonoita - { 1960 }
    as well Route 66 - Love is a Skinny Kid - { 1961 } as Tommy { small role }
    opposite favorite chickie pooh of the 60's { Tuesday Weld }.
    Weld was very good in the 60's.

    Congratulations! :beer:

    I can't remember which network it was on, but ESPN or some other sports channel ran a story on Cowboys linebacker Leighton Vander Esch and his hometown of Riggins, Idaho. Spectacular country:

    " What's the difference.Some schnook that works in the office "
    -- The Apartment - { 1960 } Best picture Academy Award and a
    great Christmas Time movie.
    One can learn a lot from movies.
    I wonder how the Lubitsch touch works if posting.
    Where Satire is emphasized on two fronts { Sex & Money }.
    Sex being a frivolous pastime,or sophisticated game moneyed people
    play to occupy their hours of leisure.
    Think ... - Some Like it Hot - { 1959 }
    Where witty dialogue and appropriate music give notable grip
    for that Lubitsch Touch.

    Kinda hard to rig a properly running Etch-a-sketch.
    But the Holidays are for occupying one's time with

    A friend who knew I was a critic of the NFL gave me a copy of Pride and Perseverance a few years ago.
    Dobler was obviously very intelligent, and developed a style of play that allowed him to succeed in spite of many handicaps in business that is dirty and low down from top to bottom.

    He was a big fan of FSU ‘s football teams, he even bought football uniforms for the team. They were some of the best looking uniforms the Noles ever wore.

    The last I saw of Reynolds was when one of those Car Shows
    went to visit him at his Southern Florida residence.They wanted to use
    him for a Car { Smokey and the Bandit } type Firebird { Trans Am } they
    had built.It was the car show - Fast N' Loud - { 2013 }.
    The Show Crew met Reynolds as they entered his driveway on a cane.He seemed
    like he was living all alone.He kinda seemed wobbly and was getting old
    fast.But he got somewhat lively after learning about the role they wanted
    him for.

    One can spend New year's Eve one of two ways.
    Out and about like a Partygoer either getting Looped or
    pretending to be Looped.
    Or staying at Home { No place Like } quietly listening to
    Lawrence Welk Records while knitting a new sweater.
    For the Pet.Who is probably sulking in the Kitchen because there
    ain't even a drop of Beer to be found in their food dish.And they
    tired of Welk and his accordion.Especially while listening to a Welk
    version of the Beer Barrel Polka.

    Could have put this in a "Humorous" forum, but the bar seemed appropriate ...

    Happy New Year, bar people.

    I'm headed off to Texas tonight for a feral hog hunt. I'll try to check in with you guys over the next few days. Cheers! :beer:

    Should have told them all to get in the backyard and graze while he ate turkey, dressing et al while listening to the Beer barrel Polka.

    Thanks!
    Yeah, it’s a pretty place for sure. This property has a bunch of marketable timber that might come in handy in our old age. I have to have the power company bring in power and have a well drilled, but this property has not been touched in several decades. Lots of downed trees and branches. It’s pretty hard to just walk amongst the trees because of what is laying on the ground. The property adjoins the property my daughters boyfriend’s-parents live on. They have 80 acres and just sold him 20 acres of it. He is going to develop his parcel at the same time we are developing ours. This whole endeavor is falling together nicely. We are going to have our little girl living within a mile of us.

    WHY ! Is any day or hour of the week more important than the other.
    I guess as mortals we tend to think in terms of other Mass evocation.
    Like certain Holidays { or Birthdays ... etc. }
    I highly doubt God thinks in those terms.I know those in the
    Religious field { Priests,Rabbis,Monks,Nuns etc. } are somewhat inclined in
    that endeavor.Where those in Hollywood and Advertising are Dedicated to it.

    Admit ... what you actually mean is For the Holiday spirit.
    Which tends to dissipate as fast as Clouds with a tendency
