Twenty nine individual stabbed to death in a single attack, committed in a very short amount of time. Most mass shootings in the united states do not even get into that range in terms of body count.

 

Did you check out the demographics of the immigrants? Mostly European. Once again a very very white 1st world population with very very lax gun laws and an absurdly low murder rate and you attempt to compare it to a country that is only 60% white. Not a fair comparison. Go to the white state of South Dakota (and its lax gun laws) and you get a homicide rate of 1.4.... comparable to European homicide rates.

The problem is OBVIOUSLY and DEMONSTRABLY not related to restrictive gun laws.

Your average shooting doesn't kill as many as a probably the biggest knife attack on the planet committed by at least 4 people. A fair comparison would be average shooting vs average knife attack. Your comparison is totally flawed to suit your agenda.

I dunno about skin color, but the lack of fathers in that demographic and a culture that glorifies violence might be a place to start looking for answers. There is a clear correlation between poverty and crime in general. And white people in the US made sure that black people were kicked to the bottom of the social economic ladder. It was legal to do so till around 1965. Economic mobility to step up that ladder is really poor in the US. In general, the black population in the US is mostly rather poor. These are facts you can look up yourself if you're interested. Hence it's an ill white supremacist joke that black people are more violent because of their black culture or just being black. I aint playing some nazi troll game. They already lost the argument. Waste of time.

 

The problem is that the lack of a two-parent household is one of the MAJOR contributing factors to poverty - and guess what demographic is facing that problem the most? You're putting the cart before the horse here.

And as far as culture, my niece put it best when she told us about a kid who asked her out with his pants sagging: "I wanna date someone who gets his fashion tips from Wall Street, not Prison!" And neither she nor I are White.

Um... you are the one advocating for oppressing me. You are the one who wants to take away my rights to keep and bear arms. I want you to realize you are going to need an army to do that.... an army that is not composed of people with my worldview.

I am not worried about gun violence because it does not affect me in any way. All of the people I know live in safe communities like I do. Most everybody I know owns guns. Most everybody I know will fight for the preservation of our rights to keep arms. When you speak of controlling the gun violence epidemic, you are not speaking to my community.... you are speaking to communities that are having a problem with gun violence. Solving THEIR problem does not require you to OPPRESS me or to destroy our Constitution. Quit pretending it does.
