    The wealthy could always have their illegal abortions performed by doctors in clinics, it was the poor and indigent that had them done in back alleys using metal coat hangers.

    For now. It's possible there is breaking point. Furthermore, it's likely a combination of highly inhabited area + some other factors.
    I would curious to see the evolution of the birth rates of some countries like India. It could be possible it would plummet at a moment.

    Women in the workforce seeking good paying careers is much more of a factor, holding off having children until their 30's where the medical chances of healthy child birth are much lower, is a major factor in our low birth rates.Late teens early twenties are the prime birthing years.

    That is true however women are HUMANS, individual humans , who have individual wants and needs.

    Many women have jobs and careers because they want a job and a career...they LIKE what they do !!!!

    YES, just like MEN they do things because they LIKE to do them....and earn money doing them
