McCain voted down that bill explicitly because it was not a healthcare bill. Just a vote to dissolve Obamacare and then...nothing.

Yes, I think Democrats would agree to vote and endorse a good Obamacare replacement if trump could actually be smart enough to propose such. He is not.

Yea...he promised to reveal his healthcare plan after the election.

"Vote for Republicans and then will reward you by revealing my plan."

Shocking that the voters rejected that beautiful plan, isnt it?

Both sides are to blame, neither one smells of a rose. Be that as it may, I can never support Democrats, right now, they are vying to ban virtually 99% of semi auto long guns and shotguns in my state, currently supporting Iran, gender madness, and more. No thanks, we do fine and she lacks for no care.

the ACA minimum plan was absolutely useless and totally unobtainable at 496$ a month.

The ACA plan for 27 states of the country don't cost anything for you, and the ONLY reason you can't have that plan NOW is the YOUR Republicans in your legislature told NO to the ACA option to give YOU the plan!

NOT Congress, NO threatening your guns, Iran, "gender madness" (are you afraid of going female???), and more of the terrors you predict if your legislature itself had say the no-cost option of saying yes. 27 other states say yes, and guess what? All of the low-income people there have health care so they can take care of the loved ones without risking not being able to keep themselves in the meantime.

Its really nice your partner needs no care, but some people need to be careful to keep themselves going in order to take care of the partner's, children, parents etc!

After the mess Obama and his stooges have made? No thanks, Trump has been the best answer in America and for Americans. We are better off without Hillary and her goons running things.

America dodged a huge bullet when Hillary rigged the election and still lost.

When your heroes gain the reins, and institute the vision they have for America, it will all collapse, anyways. I wont vote based on one reason, I weigh the balance of the total package and unless a drastic transformation of the party, should occur, no way I can ever vote Democrat.
And yes, Democrats ARE threatening our guns.

Where is trumps immediate replacement to obamacare?

And while you ponder that one, try to craft an argument that does not rely exclusively on convincing others they should worship trump the same way that you do.

Who cares? Besides you, of course. Trump is completely undoing the disastrous mess Obama left. For that, he will be elected again and he will continue to make real Americans happy.

Obama and his failed Presidency are bit a distant memory. except for all the lives lost when Obama catered to and fostered terrorism.

Your initial sad commentary and your complaints ince have nothing to do why you can't have good healthcare now for very very little money.

You don't need to vote for any stinking Democrats. You don't have to change the Congress. You don't need to wait for Trump or the Republicans to decide they think it's time finally change Obamacare after years after accomplishing nothing. You don't need to lose your guns!

You simply need to persuade your OWN Republican representatives in your OWN state legislature to stop blocking the Medicaid expansion.

Only 14 states have now blocked the Medicaid expansion, every every other state has passed it and millions of Americans of low income workers now get very good insurance for very little cost.

So in the meantime, the only reason you can't have good health at very low cost is your own Republican legislator.

No one else. Not Obama, not Democrats, not the bureaucrats, not even Trump is telling you why you can't have health insurance. Just your own very local good 'ol boys and Governor baldy who means you are uncovered while 35 or so states, including many number of Republican who get to go out and shoot game and these Republicans still hope have the power to lock up gender-bent perverts in their states.

    Good luck!

Not sure who Governor "baldy" is but thanks for the well wishes! And i'm not "sad" about our situation, I thank GOD every night I go to bed. Here I sit, in front of my computer, in our heated home with a roof over our head and food aplenty.

Pray tell, what plan would Nancy and the gang even allow to come up for a vote? From what I've seen Trump has done little to the ObamaCare law of the land besides remove mandates. The rest is all on Democrats.

Ah! Gov Baldy was a reference to the recent Governor who was replaced this year. My reference can be out of date because, frankly, living in the sinking state there is low on my list.

Interesting, though, Gov Scott showed a possible thought of the 2,900 citizens who die each year without the health care the expansion could save (plus a larger number of people with misery, disability and bankruptcies get).

The new Gov Desantis doesn't even give that a momentary nod to that death. Just bury 'm, right?

But Florida is #2, right? Texas is #1, so it's not all bad in the Sun Shine State, right?

At 39 years old, I recently had a kidney stone. Requiring an ER visit and a urologist follow up and an ultrasound, I self payed for all but the ER. They want right at 4 grand, for a CT scan and blood and urine labs. I understand what you are saying in your post as I have looked into this and I'm dissapointed with the situation, on both sides.

Why do we want a fiscally unstable state government?

Why would we like higher taxes and cost of living.

Unfortunately most on the left dont know math or economics and vote against their own pocket books

Trump's plan to replace Obamacare is to end Medicare as well. He will then go on to repeal EMTLA and "privatize" ( that is, end) Social Security too.

If you are elderly or poor you will either be dead or homeless by 2026 if Trump gets a second them in 2024

Obamacare increased the percentage of individuals insured every year for a record, resulted in the slowest increase to healthcare costs in over 40 years, eliminated pre-existing conditions as a reason for insurance denial, and was the first major healthcare related bill to address a whole host of issues in nearly 40 years as well.

Is that why you voted for a guy who spent more money while collecting less revenue?

And the biggest personal hikes in history

What a bunch of propaganda, he forced people to get Obama care, which is NOT HEALTH INSURANCE with $500 premiums and $8,000 deductibles

How can anyone call that health insurance?

You are not forced to buy such a plan, you are free to choose from several dozen healthcare plans.

Trump's changes will allow consumers to pay according to their own health needs, and to buy 12-month plans without costly extras like maternity coverage and pediatric dental coverage that are mandatory (even for single guys) in Obamacare plans.

Trump also pledged to eliminate the penalty, and the new tax reform law does that in 2019.

    https://www.realclearpolitics.com/a...obamacare_premiums_soar_dems_lie__137044.html

Trump is not the issue, Democrats like Pelosi and Schumer are. They are liars and they keep repeating the lies but somehow get elected over and over again. Maybe the sheep that vote for these fools should wake up, for once.

And of course you cannot quote Trump saying he will end Medicare and in fact is trying to strengthen it. The only ones wanting to end Medicare are the Democrats. And yes SS needs to be partially privatized I only wish it had been early in my lifetime.
