Only some people arent happy about it, which is weird, because they've been begging Trump to pull our troops out of Iraq for years.

Welp, ask and you shall receive.

Sure they will, and they'll be as effective as they were in Syria when Israel bombed them.
You see, those system are a bit more complicated to use than an AK, and it takes years to train a crew to be effective with them.
Of course China and Russia could send crews with those system, but since they both know that the life expectancy of those crews will be measured in minutes once they activate their radar, they may decide it's wasteful to send those crews to certain death.

You think Trump was smart enough to expect threats of retaliation from Iran against his personally owned business interests? I do not.

Don't worry: even though Trump is many of the things you mentioned, Iran isn't developing nukes. The best "control" you could have is in the "moderates" and "reformers" who run Iran's nuclear program and have the lead on the nuclear issue, at least for now. They are committed (whether for legitimate reasons or because of some vested interests remains to be seen) to somehow bringing back to life a dead deal which was a fraud on Iran from the beginning.

 

Iran is developing nukes and they were developing them while under the nuclear deal that Obama put in place. They never stopped, they just lied about it.
