incorrect, a yes or no vote means she chooses a lesser evil.

Guess what she does for a living? Guess what her constituents pay her to do? Guess what is the single most important duty a Congressperson has to represent the district? Is it to respond to letters? Is it to cut ribbons at the state fair? Is it to do interviews with local media? Is it to give speeches on C-SPAN? Is it to ask questions in committees?

No its to make decisions Yea or Nay on the business of the House and thus represent her district. If she decides never to vote for either of the lesser of two evils in that job, her constituents will get no representation 75% of the time! By not picking the lesser of two evils in her job, she makes it a lot more likely that the greater of those evils hits her district.

The real winners of a 'present' vote, are the same people who win if she goes to the beach instead. She simply increases the real voting power of other 434, who do vote in that chamber, none of whom give a rats ass for her constituents because their vote is less diluted than it would otherwise be.

She might as well have played hooky. At least she gets a relaxing day, while she shows herself a gutless coward.

she is the only representative who does not cowardly vote for a lesser evil.

her constituents demand the greater good.

Refusing to vote for the lesser evil, is always a vote guaranteeing the greater evil. Her constituents demand better.

If only we could look back and history and see how effective paying tribute to the barbarians was.

    Oh wait.

    We can. Never worked.

Trump done Good.Real Good. Both Historically and in the context of
Warring strategy. This Mad Killer Soleimani got his just desserts.
Learned first hand what goes around comes around.
His replacement is now gonna have to learn that as well.
Won't be able to make a single Military move w/o seriously
wondering about his own survival. He will be tracked.General
Petraeus explained how valuable this assassination was.Much more
important than Bid Laden.Even though In my estimation the Bin Laden
raid was All show and no Go.There was not a single photo of a dead Bin
Laden and his body was never placed in a secure burial spot.We were told
{ lied to } that a burial at sea was proper for a Muslim. That's ONLY when a
    Muslim Dies at Sea.

I know that he got a slight bump in support since impeachment compared to just before impeachment. That is not a surprise. As I said he could illegally and personally cause someone's life to be terminated and his base will support him. That does not mean what he does is good nor right.

"Appearing on "Fox & Friends," Gabbard argued that the airstrike violated the Constitutionbecause there was no declaration of war from Congress."

That's my question about this, Congress can declare wars but the president can do things that could potentially make a congressional declaration a moot point.

An analogy, you can get in fights at school but only if your mom gives the ok. You see a kid you really don't like so you verbally call him every name in the book hoping he'll start the fight for you because if he does there is nothing mom can do to stop you.

Americans in general tend to support the termination of terrorists.
Impeachment has given Trump big boost with a critical part of his core base - Democrats.

"CNN — The American public is about evenly split over whether President Donald Trump should be impeached and removed from office, according to a new CNN Poll conducted by SSRS, with the House of Representatives poised to vote on articles of impeachment this week."

"Support for impeachment and removal among Democrats has dipped from 90% in November to 77% now."
WRAL, POLITICAL NEWS, CNN Poll: The nation remains divided on impeachment as House vote approaches, By Jennifer Agiesta, CNN Polling Director, 12/16/19.

If you or anyone else honestly takes in the facts that Trump did indeed stop the aid that Congress approved for Ukraine ( confirmed by DOD ) and he did ask the president of Ukraine to announce an investigation against his political rival, and only release that held aid after a whistle blower brought it to light you will realize that the impeachment process was legitimate, Constitutional and not as you claim a "clown show".

It seems as if any Congressional process that Trump fans do not like they call itva "clown show".

It's a real question, doesn't that effectively neuter congressional power?

Of course we do. You are either not comprehending or you are purposely ignoring the fact that I and others are saying that Trump's actions of taking out the terrorist General AT THIS TIME had nothing to do with fighting terrorism. It had everything to do with diverting attention from the impeachment process. In fact Trump has hurt the cause of fighting terrorism such as fighting ISIS by blatently whacking the terrorist general. Trump and his trusted minions did not consider the strategic rammications of taking that guy out the way and time he did.

The result of what Trump did is that we will be using 100 % of our attention and resources in the ME and elsewhere to stop and prevent the Iranians from committing expanded terrorist acts.

I have said that we should have taken that terrorist general out quietly and even make it look as if someone other than us did it. Problem is that Trump has such a sicked assed EGO that he wants credit for such actions. You see Trump cares a million time more about himself than he cares about his country. He cares only to get personal glory for something and does not care if an action is good for our country.

Look up what Chuck Hagel said today which is two days after I pointed it out. Hagel said that as a result of what Trump did "Iran is the big winner".

    Oh I see.

We're at that part of the program where you're going to pretend Quds and Hezbollah aren't terror groups, he wasn't in charge of/working with, and would like evidence of the obvious.

    I'm good.

So far Trump has got the left defending MS-13, ISIS leaders and Quds/Hezbollah leaders.

    Keep running with that rope.
