That looks like a sand castle, not saying it is, but it sure looks like one.

Its a 2000 yr old sandcastle (made of clay bricks). Much of it was destroyed in the earthquake (26K killed in surrounding towns), but they have restored it for the most part. It is listed as one of the World Heritage Sites.

If you watched it when it happened, she didn't jump in front of it, she stood in front of it, rather like the Chinese person did in front of the tank in Tiannemen Square.

The Chinese tank stopped, the Israeli bulldozer did not.

Yes, she played what was a sort of resistance game of chicken. Are you going to kill me to do this destruction of people's homes. As you said even the Chinese would not do that. Israel however would. She will not allow any kind of non violent resistance. If a person tries it, they die. When Israel did this it was completely against what was considered acceptable morality in the West. Now certainly the US has also fallen as low killing people it knows are on their way to negotiate on peace. Lying about people killing Americans when they have only done that when the US has called them an axes of evil saying they intend on regime change and they are at war. We live in a time of insanity.

Nope. That’s because every nation that opposes America is either a Islamic Fascist Terrorist Tyranny, a Collectivist Dictatorship, or cowards kissing the enemy’s ass and providing them moral cover. (BTW: That includes Trump, America’s biggest Anti-American tribal Fascist, and our greatest kisser of Dictators’ asses, including Iran’s.)

Which goes to allies (see Canada), and that is why Langley (CIA) dropped the ball by not including evidence of Saddam being allied with Al Quacka in the 9/11 commission report, not even so much as a footnote on this particular item which I was posting before the 9/11 commission report came out. "AUTHORIZATION FOR USE OF UNITED STATES ARMED FORCES. (a) IN GENERAL- That the President is authorized to use all necessary and appropriate force against those nations, organizations, or persons he determines planned, authorized,"

The DoD recently admitted there was no direct link between al Qaeda and Saddam.

    Your point?

Because the CIA (Langley) dropped the ball, a direct link was not necessary for there to be an indirect link, the 9/11 commission report said there were "a number of feelers," just because Saddam chose an indirect response does not mean there wasn't one. Whereas Saddam had sent a letter to the United Nations (of tyrants too) saying he would continue to send money to the terrorists in Palestine, a direct link (documents...) otherwise to those (pronoun people) terrorists in Al Quacka would not be expected. Saddam authorized the maneuvers, very publicly and indirectly, and that means there was no need for the next authorization on Iraq.

March 1997: "Though Bin Ladin had promised Taliban leaders that he would be circumspect, he broke this promise almost immediately, giving an inflammatory interview to CNN in March 1997. The Taliban leader Mullah Omar promptly 'invited' Bin Ladin to move to Kandahar, ostensibly in the interests of Bin Ladin's own security but more likely to situate him where he might be easier to control.73

There is also evidence that around this time Bin Ladin sent out a number of feelers to the Iraqi regime, offering some cooperation. None are reported to have received a significant response. According to one report, Saddam Hussein's efforts at this time to rebuild relations with the Saudis and other Middle Eastern regimes led him to stay clear of Bin Ladin.74" (The 9/11 commission report, page 65-66)

July 1997, South Movement, "the path of Jihad and proper action": "Those who desire to face up to the Zionists conspiracies, intransigence, and aggressiveness must proceed towards the advance centers of capabilities in the greater Arab homeland and to the centers of the knowledge, honesty and sincerity with whole heartiness if the aim was to implement a serious plan to save others from their dilemma or to rely on those capable centers; well-known for their positions regarding the enemy, to gain precise concessions from it with justified maneuvers even if such centers including Baghdad not in agreement with those concerned, over the objectives and aims of the required maneuvers." (On the 29th anniversary of Iraq's national day (the 17th of July 1968 revolution). President Saddam Hussein made an important comprehensive and nation wide address) http://southmovement.alphalink.com.au/countries/Iraq/speech.htm

He wasn't bankrolling, directing, or providing refuge for al Qaeda. So what if Saddam liked the cut of their jib? Or gave them some money.
Who the hell cares what Saddam said he would do? Did he send money? How much, if any? Did he have influence with Palestinians?
What "maneuvers," by whom, are you talking about? You're suggesting Saddam had operational control of someone or something. He certainly didn't control al Qaeda.

The United Nations (of tyrants too) cared enough what he said:
    “H32. Requires Iraq to inform the Security Council that it will not commit or support any act of international terrorism or allow any organization directed towards commission of such acts to operate within its territory and to condemn unequivocally and renounce all acts, methods and practices of terrorism;
I33. Declares that, upon official notification by Iraq to the Secretary-General and to the Security Council of its acceptance of the provisions above, a formal cease-fire is effective between Iraq and Kuwait and the Member States cooperating with Kuwait in accordance with resolution 678 (1990);” http://www.fas.org/news/un/iraq/sres/sres0687.htm

What he said could end the cease-fire, as it did. Saddam did not have WMD, what he said caused the response, and how I found and posted what is below before the authorization against Iraq; even Iran condemned the attacks of 9/11.

    The maneuvers of 9/11:
July 1997, South Movement, "the path of Jihad and proper action": "Those who desire to face up to the Zionists conspiracies, intransigence, and aggressiveness must proceed towards the advance centers of capabilities in the greater Arab homeland and to the centers of the knowledge, honesty and sincerity with whole heartiness if the aim was to implement a serious plan to save others from their dilemma or to rely on those capable centers; well-known for their positions regarding the enemy, to gain precise concessions from it with justified maneuvers even if such centers including Baghdad not in agreement with those concerned, over the objectives and aims of the required maneuvers." I just said Langley dropped the ball, they were idiots, "slam dunk" freaking idiots at the time, which is irrefutably proven; Bush only had the intelligence information given him, so Bush could prove nothing, Bush could admit nothing, because Bush was given nothing.

The fatwas of war by Al Quacka had to do with Iraq; since it was Saddam's actions that required us to be engaged, and his words that called for Jihad in violation of resolution 687, therefore, Saddam had everything to do with 9/11.

The claim of an "intelligence failure" leading up to the war on Iraq is just another lie, part of the same

The American Invasion Of Iraq: Causes And Consequences
    http://sam.gov.tr/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Raymond-Hinnebusch.pdf
    From The Article :
The first hurdle the Bush administration had to clear was to legitimize war on a state that did not
threaten the US. The issue of WMDs was hit upon as a way to turn the 'war on terrorism' against
Iraq; to do so, Bush had to claim that Saddam Hussein was linked to al-Qaida and was actively
developing weapons of mass destruction which he might turn over to terrorists or use on their
behalf, and hence that Iraq represented an imminent threat to the US. These claims have not only
been discredited but, additionally, there is strong evidence that the war party in Washington
deliberated exaggerated unreliable claims and knew Iraq was no threat to the US.

You ask SUCH a question about those in power, then requote Bush, funny.

During shock and awe Saddam's government site went down, so there was a period there where I could not link to his letters...this is a leftover of the non-linked quoting method used during shock and awe:

“As we said before to those who launched aggressions on us, including the US, in and before Um-Almarik (the mother of the battles), the world, like Iraq and its Arab nation, needs steadfastness to face the aggression, make it miss its targets. It must not allow the US to be victorious. The victory of the US and its allies over Iraq would conceal the opposing attitude and analysis, and would not allow it to emerge again for a long time.” (Saddam Hussein Shabban 13, 1422 H. October 29, 2001.)

Quick, quote Bush some more, see if I care.

You say they care? What did they do about Saddam? Not much.
"At Langley?" I never worked for the CIA. Should I make assumptions about you because of your forum name choice?
