China believes its best interest is to become the lone economic superpower globally. Anything we supply them with will be used as a tool to gain advantage over us. I think we agree here.

The Chinese government does not care if their people suffer in the future. They just need to benefit the state short term. If the Chinese were concerned about climate change I doubt they would be wasting resources building islands.

Incidentally, most surveys of Himalayan precipitation show total increases. Less snow, more rain. As far as I know, the rainwater is fit for human consumption and use. :)

Also, I believe the Himalayas have received record amounts of snow the last couple years. Reportedly due to climate change of course.

It’s time to stop fearing change just because it’s change. I’m amused at how progressives exhibit this trait to such a high degree when they criticize it’s existence in conservatism. But that’s neither here nor there. I’m sure China plans to take full advantage of changes. As do I.

We don’t even know how many species there are. Just like nobody knew how many polar bears existed pre-Al Gore.

Last I checked it was under a thousand. But the number is irrelevant. Extinction happens.

Your sources are conspiracy crap and opinion puff pieces.
The United States manages its forest. What we cut down we replant.

You must be talking about Australia's lack of forest management.

If you can't figure out that that is how computer models are conducted, then there is no help for you.

    All articles are opinion pieces.

Just because the findings doesn't fit your narrative or goes against your narrative, doesn't make it wrong.

How do you know this to be true?

You are saying that one day state benefit would be preferred to 100 years benefit to the nation?

Everyone has multiple goals that they pursue simultaneously

Yes... but if all your water for a year comes in one day.... it is called a flood
If that same amount of water falls as snow in the mountains and slowly melts.... it is a river
    As far as you know
Most people prefer their water to be spread out over time.... just as the demand for water is spread out over time

Yes, it is best to evaluate change on its merits... rather than sanguinely presuming that all chang is good

Not knowing the total number of species is barely relevant to whether specific species have gone extinct.

Show me then. Make a model that matches the observed data regarding climate.

There is a MASSIVE amount of proof that CO2 concentration is the direct cause of our current warming and that humans are the cause of the increase in CO2.

There is no proof of that. What are your sources which prove that human CO2 emissions are causing the current warming which started in the 1800’s at the end of the little ice age ???

It’s relevant to determine percentages. But like I said, extinction is normal. I wouldn’t get too emotional about it.

We have nine previous warmings in the Holocene. Models are not needed.

Then I would be doing exactly what the climate alarmist are doing and that is making crap up.

Two wrongs don't make a right.

I dont care that you think it is right or wrong.

I care to prove that you are spouting bullshit about your ability to even make one.

What are the top three proofs that human CO2 emissions are the cause of our current warming.

What, that was 'peer' reviewed. You just didn't like what it said. All the climate nutters in the world can't change the fossil record.

It said that CO2 levels had/have nothing to do with temperature change.

In the late 1970's the nutters convinced the government that CfC's were causing global cooling. So out with the hairspray and R12 freon....because supposedly they caused the hole in the ozone....which let heat escape (as all the experts said).

So if the 'experts' were right about global cooling in the 1970's, then all we have to do is bring back CfC's, hairspray, R12 freon....voila...problem solved.

    Why?
Who said that GW has caused extinctions?
There's more to environmentalism than climate change you know.

So some "study" by propaganda experts are confirming what the other propaganda experts are saying....no surprise.

Show me the actual science or go pound sand.

Yes, but no one said it caused any extinctions.
