Why do people on here only care when the shooter is WHITE?

They are first and foremost individuals. Immutable characteristics such as race and gender are incidental not definitive. I do not define people by their immutable characteristics; I define them by the content of their characters.

 

mass shootings get more news coverage, gang shootings not so much, probably because when gangs kill gangs no one really cares, now if a gang accidentally shot an innocent child or something it makes more news

I think the key is senseless violence where lot of people die makes more news than gang violence

 

We weren't discussing most murders, we were discussing the mass shootings that were being considered here. There were 60 some mass shootings done by whits and only 19 or so were done by blacks

We were discussing Post 3 this thread. The numbers there are the numbers there and they say there are more shootings to make threads on about whites than about blacks. Why is the race of these shooters so important to you anyway? (as if that isn't blindingly obvious.)

It's not important to me. I don't give a mass shooting less attention simply because the shooter is black. That's what others on here appear to have done though.

Why do people focus on race and color when the obvious question is... Why do these shootings keep happening and no one ever knows the motive.

Guns have been around since the founding of the country.
No other time in history have mass shootings occurred frequently .
Anyone stop to ask Why have so many shootings occurred since the formation of homeland security? Eighteen years ago.

If it is a gun problem how come Russia dosen't have a similar problem . Not like Russia is lacking hardened white males not scared to kill.

Is this a I got you.. Because in was drawing a comparison to similarities between the talking points of the thread. Like the United states has more guns per person then Russia but Russia has more murders..

Yea and that equals 9 guns to every 100 citizens in russia and 100 guns to every 100 citizens of the u.s . Does That mean every citizen in the u.s is armed?

Because russia is the country that is more similar to the United States then most other countries.

Honestly I was trying to poke fun at the white mass shooter sterotype because there aren't that many minorities in Russia . It should in itself disprove white males are more prone to commit mass shootings.
