Perhaps a few people do deserve a lifetime in prison. In Canada prisons are humane.

But people who can not or even would not be productive do not deserve a punishment.

 

There are evil people who are much more visible then ordinary people. According to many Jewish philosophers, most Humans have innate value and goodness in them.

 

Once again, Atheist and Darwinist logic leads to enormous disregard for Human value.

I disagree. This is the SJW perspective. A person who has not committed an evil act is not evil.

 

All Humans have vale -- even the worst. In Canada, even the worst offenders are treated humanely.

 

Are the victims of the worst offenders treated humanely as well? How many of the worst offenders go on to murder again once they are released?

 

Very few people who have served time for murder re-offend. Less then 1%. Those who have killed more then once are not released.

 

Then perhaps the difference lays with the people rather than the system, as such is simply not the case in the united states.

 

Perhaps American Prisons brutalize rather then rehabilitate people.

 

Prisons are meant to be brutal to discourage attendance, rather than be seen as the equivalent of a country club where one can go for housing, food, relaxation, medical care, and prestige, all of which they do not have to pay for because the bill is being footed by taxpayers.
