The United States Senate just legislated a huge win for the American people with its passage of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). This deal also marks a victory for President Trump, who promised to overhaul NAFTA during the 2016 general election.

USMCA has been largely bipartisan throughout the legislative process, and passed the Senate 89-10 Thursday afternoon. In the Nay column was Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), who expressed his disapproval of the landmark deal on account of climate concerns. :puke:

Even Schemer is making Pelosi look like a complete ass. The USMCA is Trump's deal not Pelosi even though she crowed that she's responsible for making it happen, liar.

Schumer, Booker, Sanders and all the usual Nazi Party members masking as Democrats in office, all voted No.

Completely Pelosi's deal... She was clear she wouldn't have supported the deal as originally framed.. Nancy should be ticked at Chuck here, not you, but if he votes his conscience, who are we to disagree? An R voted No as well, so there ya go...

Your implied thread title is also crappola... 2020 Dems Amy and Lizzy voted yea... or does Townhall.com not actually know who is running??

But Congrats to Speaker Pelosi for her leadership on this issue! If she says its good and the majority of the Senate D's say it's good, it has my support.

The Senate on Thursday overwhelmingly passed President Donald Trump's signature trade deal with Mexico and Canada, helping him fulfill a 2016 campaign promise in a rare bipartisan vote.

It’s a big win for the president going into his reelection campaign, as he seeks to prove that his disruptive trade agenda is delivering results. But it’ll take years of costly work before American workers and businesses begin to benefit from the new trade pact with Mexico and Canada, which passed the Senate in a 89-10 vote.

All 10 that voted NO were Democrats.

"Democrats who voted against this deal did not do so on account of any substantive policy disagreement, but rather their continuous refusal to give President Trump any wins."

    ^ Typical. Shameful, but unsurprising.

ROFL at Pelosi if she's trying to take credit for this. Kind of like Democrats trying to take credit for the economy  Anyone who believes that, needs to be deprogrammed.

Democrats are going to say the economy is good because of the trade deal they passed during the election.

Over the next couple months all positive stories about the economy will be credited to the trade deal Democrats passed.

What a dilemma, do Democrats credit Messiah Hopeandchange Obama for Trump's economy, or do they pretend the USMCA was "theirs" and try to steal credit that way?

So many Trump successes, so few ways for Democrats to try to steal the credit. :p

Curious as to why they voted no.

We'll never get an explanation though.

Cool? You signed a deal that was almost identical to the old one, except that it is going ot help bring up Mexico's economy (if the companies who currently produce there don't decide to move to a now cheaper jurisdiction)

Otherwise, from the perspective of a Western Canadian, this deal is pretty much a win for us up here.

Impeachment, who cares? That will be another win for Trump.

Markets Way up on great news. Even your dem congress clowns and Obama are making big money thanks to Trump and his winning administration. How about you?

Tons of freaking money!! Tons!!! Making more pre-tax income in retirement than I was making working, and I made a good living as a very senior programmer...

Except for my cash holdings and CD's, it's all in the market ether and subject to change, but those daily reports look fantastic most days..

    Me too, thanks to Trump.

Still, I keep about 8-10% in CD's, not much currently at 1.53% where I trade but use it for anything that looks like a buy. Market valuations are a little high to buy much but I do add to some leveraged index ETF's and am looking for some trade sensitive industrial stocks to improve, CAT, MMM, etc. Maybe certain financials too?

Oh, I almost forgot Pelosi's big tall southern boarder wall will also be a win for Trump. :)
