An indicted man for lying? You want as a witness?

 

Funny how trumpers never want evidence that might implicate Dear Leader. It is a matter of faith that he is pure as the driven snow, and they don't want anything challenging that faith.

 

You want a man that is indicted for lying to go under oath and expect him to tell the truth? Wow!

 

You realize that by doing so, he opens himself up to More legal action and further jail time if it's proven he lied.

Most people aren't looking to add jail time to their record.

Would you accept Guiliani as a character witness?

 

He's learned his lesson and has come clean. This is something Trump will never do.

 

I do not want him as a witness just as I did not want Giuliani to use such an "indicted man" to further Trump's pressure campaign against Ukraine.

But he is a witness and he is willing to testify under oath.

I am perfectly capable of recognizing the limitations of using a person indicted or convicted of a crime to help establish that someone else committed a wrongdoing. But it happens every day, across the country.

So, in others words, we should believe an indicted liar? When he provides evidence of his personal contact with Trump (emails, text messages or IM's), I will listen.

 

Dozens of pictures of him with Trump is evidence of their contact. Messages directly between him and Giuliani is evidence of their contact.

And yes, you should believe an indicted liar when they are willing and permitted to testify under oath. Indicted is not the same as convicted.

 

Like I said. Let us all see Lev's phone call records implicating a conversation took place with President Trump, how about text messages? I could care less about his conversations with Giuliani.

 

Why do you limit evidence to only direct communications with Trump?

If Parnas has pertinent information and proof of conversation with Trump, by all means bring it forth (emails, texts or Ims). We already know he had contact with Guiliani, its no earth shattering news. It means nothing. The timing of Parnas sudden talk show appearance is obvious. He has had month to come forward, he could have been part of the House's inquiry. This is just another last minute, poorly executed play.

 

It's not really an issue of "not liking it".

It just makes no sense and isn't premised upon anything remotely legitimate.
