Well, like I said, the economy is not a matter of throwing meat at the biggest dog in the pack and expecting rich people, and corporations to do the right thing. That’s half the electorate. The other half, actually tries to compromise with this ridiculous idea...
That shows you few people actually get it.

You don’t get it because you just capitalized the word “liberal”.
You’re locked into politics. There is a big difference.

Liberalism is an ideology that stands for an unregulated economy, free trade, individual autonomy and small government. The so called "Liberals" (Democrats) are an abomination to the label and have done the name so much evil that its connotations have switched completely to become the very opposite of what it actually is.

When was the last time a Democrat quoted Locke?

The reason I understand what Liberalism actually is is because I am not locked up in party politics. In fact, I hate party politics and am only interested in political philosophy. "Liberal" is the most perverted and corrupted term in the American political lexicon.

Edit: I capitalise the term because I thought that was correct English. It is not my native tongue, so please have patience. :)

The political middle here is also further right than a lot of developing countries and dictatorships. It's how things are.

There you go. You’re thinking liberalism like it’s Liberalism because you want to be when it’s not, This is why the right is wrong.
Science is committed to liberalism ( with a small “ l” not Liberalism. You need to actually read a dictionary definition of liberalism. I’ve yet to see a righty do it. Surprise us ! Give it a try.

Only in America does Liberalism not mean Liberalism. All over Europe, Liberal means Classical Liberal. In America, however, it seems to be equated to "Progressivism" and "Social Democracy".

    That is historically incorrect.

English was the fourth language I learned. I thought ideologies were proper names and that proponents of a given ideology were titles hence the capitalisation. A bad habit of mine that I will try to unlearn now that I know the proper way.

Does this apply to religions as well?

You dont get that liberal is an adjective first, a proper noun second.
You can’t even write liberal with a lower case “ l”.
“ liberal”....willing to respect or accept behavior or opinions different from one's own; open to new ideas.

Not sure what point you are trying to make. My town is fairly typical for a population of a thousand. The town I grew up in Missouri is also about a thousand people. When I grew up, they had three new car dealers and no specialty shop. They now have no new car dealers or specialty shops. Neither is particularly isolated. Both have sizable several towns not that far away, fifty miles or less with multiple new car dealers and specialty shops.

You never learned when to capitalize correctly ?
When used as an adjective, liberal is not capitalized. You capitalize proper nouns. If I call you a liberal, it simply means you’re open to new ideas, no more, no less.

Yes, because - as I said - English is not my maternal language. It was an honest mistake and not an act of biased leanings.

I thought liberal was a title which is why I wrote "Liberals" and I thought "liberalism" was a proper name which is why I wrote "Liberalism".

    No hidden agendas here.

?? We have multi tiered adulthood and always have.

We even have multi tiered adulthood just for marriage, with different age limits applied for different situations.

We have law related to education that depends on age.

In many states we have multi tiered driver's licenses based on age, as it has been found that young first time drivers have high accident rates when friends but no adult is in the car.

I guess if our military thinks the troops need to get their drink on, they can do that on the base. Those in the military don't live under the same laws as civilians.

I'm not opposed to hearing arguments for changing each of these age related laws. But in general, there is no real justification for unifying all the regulations we have concerning age.

    ??

The Trump DoJ has ended its investigation having found nothing of interest.

Yet YOU keep calling her a criminal???

Do you have any clue about how our system works?

Or, are you just a partisan hack on a smear mission?

Trump needs to apologize to Clinton for his constant rallying of the country around false accusations.

The government owns controlling stock in something like 200 companies, some the largest in Norway. The oil industry is state owned.

They should as the Grammer rules fir each language are very similar. After all, going back to antiquity, the Danes,, Dutch, and English were the same people. Even connect by Doggerland, which has since sank below the North Sea.

She sent and received top secret documents on an unsecured network. That’s breaking the law. Everyone knows it, just like we know OJ stabbed those two people.
