    No Airbus model is grounded.

Boeing builds crap and its official. They even admit it.

    https://www.telegraph.co.uk/busines...UvKOcKxLN9oFIUGGq9v_WrmIWg#Echobox=1579371083

Boeing’s new flagship, the 777X, is threatened with similar safety failings to the US aerospace giant’s ill-fated 737 Max, according to internal emails.

Damning messages released as part of a US Senate probe into two 737 Max fatal crashes highlight Boeing staff fears that the 777X – a modified version of an existing plane – may be vulnerable to technical problems.

In an email from June 2018, before the first Max crash, one Boeing worker wrote: “Best part is we are re-starting this whole thing with the 777X with the same supplier and have signed up to an even more aggressive schedule.”

Another member of staff warns about a relentless cost focus, saying: “We put ourselves in this position by picking the lowest-cost supplier and signing up to impossible schedules. Why did the lowest ranking and most unproven supplier receive the contract? Solely based on the bottom dollar. Not just the Max but also the 777X! Supplier management drives all these decisions.”...

Idk, i fly next september with my girl to brisbane.

Emirates does that with A380 from Frankfurt to Dubai and then Boeing 777 from Dubai to Brisbane.

Singapore uses A380 from Frankfurt to Singapore and from Singapore to Brisbane tze A350.

We did chose Singapore even so its more expensive. So thats a 5600€ loss for a company that uses Boeing.

Yip, Airbus is the better product. Had a 12h flight on a Boeing 777. It was horror. Loud, dry. It was like never ending.

Return was from Brisbane with A380. Silent, calm, higher air humidity. Relaxing and could sleep.

The A380 is expensive, its a massive aircraft. The most popular by passengers but expensive to maintain.

But Boeing...is dead. While Airbus has record sales, Boeing has a negative order number.

That's why they are ending production of the Airbus in 2021 right?

It's fair to say that Airbus built the wrong plane, that the demand for the A380 wasn't high enough. They're still making a profit on the ones that they're building, but I don't know whether they got their R&D costs back.
None of that changes the utter mess that Boeing are in, though. They need to survive otherwise Airbus will have a monopoly, which is in no one's interests.

What are you talking about? A380 ends because lack of orders.

All other airbus models have such high order numbers that they cant produce as fast as new orders come in.
