It's the OPs responsibilty to source the information.

So.. basically, no actual revisions to the law have been presented... but the left is concerned.

This doesn't seem a little pre-emptive to you?

We all knew that Trump had corrupt tendencies. The worrying thing is that Trump supporters, most of them I assume do not have a liking for corruption, don't speak up, and keep supporting this guy.

And replace it with something else because the FCPA is badly written and badly conceived law. Congress needs to rethink it.

Can you tell me what’s bad about it.

I think I’m most concerned that the President believes he can executive order repeal a law passed by both the house and Senate and signed into law by a President.

Even that doesn’t concern Trumps fan base?

And that's not what Trump is doing.

Try to read more closely before you start attacking him for specious reasons.

“Trump then said he needed Tillerson “to get rid of that law.” When Tillerson said it would be virtually impossible to get Congress to authorize a repeal of the law, Trump reportedly ordered a senior policy adviser, Stephen Miller, to draft an executive action to repeal the FCPA.”

    Seems plausible to me.

The law has been in place and it already happens. This is nothing new. You will not do business in China will out bribing the local officials. I am not defending this, I am saying it is and has been happening. You want to talk about bribing let's talk the clinton crime fund foundation let's talk about the drug addict Biden those were all brib8in one form our the other. I find it absolutely hilarious that you dims are pretending this is something new so you can blame Trump.

You could not be more wrong. Business men do what needs to be done. If you go to china you will be paying bribes, when they visit the states you will be taking them to strip bars. This is nothing new. His is not about Trump like I have said many times this is nothing new. The Clinton foundation was a huge pay to play, companys go not put an unprecedented drug addict on a board that was a scratch your back thing. People wake up this is not a Republicans or Democrat thing. They are all corrupt to one degree or another.

Thank you for pointing out that businesses regulating themselves is a pipe dream. The bolded sentence is EXACTLY why we need anti-corruption laws.

The Edelman Trust Barometer which has been conducting polls for over twenty years just polled over 34,000 people in 28 countries and for the first time the result was that 56% of those polled concluded that," capitalism as it exists today does more harm than good in the world".Only Australia,Canada ,theUSA,South Korea,Hong Kong and Japan disagreed with that opinion.Over all Asians are the most optimistic about their economic future prospects.
