Temperature records falling all over the place!

Help is on the way (according to Canadian news sources).

    Fear not, America!
Be brave, my American friends. Remain in your safe spaces to await further orders or until the globe warming war is won!

2020 record global warming siege -- first Iceland and now Newfoundland -- has been brutal and relentless! Needs marshmallows and wienies.

Since you are obviously an unbiased expert on this subject, why do you feel that the globe is experiencing so many extreme precipitation and non-precipitation events occurring around the globe?

Historically? It's not. Hurricanes are not at an all time high or even close. Australia has been here before...

All we really have is a bunch of people looking to tax the First World for China's and India's CO2 emissions. If Leftists are so upset, they would be protesting for more nuclear power and that is where our money would go. We would be investing in SMR's.

You know climate change means weather patterns will get more extreme right?

Because we're on the cusp of a Grand Solar Minimum, one of which we've never experienced and one last felt by people in the 17th and early 18th century.

65 million years ago the Earth got so warm they found Herbivore Dinosaur remains 400 miles from the North Pole......all without the help of fossil fuels. Fancy that.

That makes sense. The warmer the environment the more atoms move. So the fast moving molecules cause themselves to slow down so that it can snow. Why not?

Indeed... The global means temp was 27°C higher than it is today. During the ice age, it was -2°C...

The globe is experiencing no more or less "extreme precipitation and non-precipitation events" than the past 4.6 billion years.

I don't understand why they are using the global warming argument. Polluting our air and contaminating our soil and ocean is not good for us. No scientist can argue that these particulates are safe to breath!

It isn’t. Apparently you know little about the history of weather.

who thinks pollution is a good thing? It's the sky-is-falling BS about man-made global warming and how we in the USA should pay taxes to the FREAKIN US GOVT to somehow fix what China and India are doing

    Democrat politicians love you alarmists

Cherry picking the weather of one day or even year in history and inferring it means something is inane, and the actual history of weather means climate change, which in case you hadn't noticed is changing at a more rapid pace than it has at any time prior in history

I am neither an alarmist, nor a democrat. Dems don't care about the environment any more than reps. Its about power. I live in Los Angeles where dems enjoy full control. Care to guess our air quality?

Record snowfall is not inconsistent with a warming climate. Quite easy actually.
For example, since it is typically cold in the winter in Newfoundland, this snowstorm could actually be associated with above average (but still below freezing) temperatures.
Or, even if these temperatures (for a few days) are below average, the province could still have an above average temperature for the year.

Who has been pushing for mass transit in California for decades? And who has opposed it?

Climate change isn't an issue about politics nor power, it is real, and where the political identification come in is when one side refuses to accept the reality
