Rather sure everybody downplayed how bad it was, including Donald.
It ends up that Maria is in the top 3 most deadly tornadoes around.
It took ages for help to arrive. And Donald did a poor job taking control of that situation.

Obviously Democrats, Biden especially, need to be investigated. If they will order underlings to hide hurricane aid to hurt trump, imagine what else they are up to.

I think we need an investigation to how those supplies wound up in those warehouses and who ordered them there.

I highly doubt it was an accident considering provda/MSM was running stories about how racist Donald Trump is for not helping Puerto Rico.

And now they are saying that he never cared about corruption in other countries which proves the Ukraine thing was only about getting at Joe Biden. He cared about in Puerto Rico and got attacked, and he was proven correct. He cared about it in Ukraine and to attack, let's get that full investigation going and find out was he correct.

Ahhhhh, Puerto Rico hasn't changed a bit.

I lived there for 4 years and on different parts of the island (Luquillo, Arecibo and Hato Rey (San Juan)) and I can attest to the high degree of corruption and incompetence of the government. Everyone is open to receiving bribes, and when I say that, I mean cops, lawyers, judges, politicians and government workers of all kinds. In fact, at the time, and it's probably still the same, 1 out of every 4 jobs on the island is a government job. But much like Mexican culture, if it's not bribes, then it's who you know. What surprises me is that the relief supplies are still there and haven't been stolen. When I had huge shipments sent to me from the States it wasn't surprising to see much of it missing - yet I still had to pay the 17% import tax on the stuff I didn't receive. Man, I could tell you guys horror stories.

Oh, BTW, you wanna talk about racism and discrimination? The PRs hate Colombians and Cubans, and they absolutely detest Dominicans with a passion. A lot of them hate Americans (hence the Independantistas) but do their best to hide it because they need our $$$. If things are still the same down there, then some of the largest employers are American pharmaceutical companies.

But it wasn't all bad. While the PRs might not like Americans in general, they were very friendly and polite to the average American on the street, or people like me. Everyone there treated me good and I even married a girl I met there although it only lasted 12 years.

 

It traveled there for work for several years, including calling on the pharma's and with all the resources and labor it's amazing how down the economic scale it remains. But I have also sail the Virgin Isahms and Caribbean and Grenadine Islands and it's just amazing how on the independent Islands you weigh anchor and skiff into to port and see the poverty all around and then you get to the government house for customes and immigration and you see the fancy cars and the officials are all wearing the best uniforms and suits and wearing gold chains and jewelry and fancy sun-glasses...........

 

When and if a disaster strikes America... will Democrats hide aid and relief to hurt trump? You better believe they will.

Heck, they've intentionally kept minorities down for decades, so hiding aid is a given if there is political gain to be had. Wait....you don't think democrats really care about the people, do you? Nah, you know better.
