I would imagine that most of these are service entities in name only, same as UK financial services and banks have done in EEA countries for licensing purposes. We’ve done the same; set up a Brussels entity in order to obtain licences to facilitate face to face trading with our continental clients. It’s nothing new and has been ramped up now there is finally some certainty in the direction of travel.

    True.

The only thing that can be said about Brexit is that not much will happen. But that won't fill the newspapers.

I guess they want to have their Brexit and eat it too?
    IDK, why not?
Why not have access to both UK and EU by having an office in the UK and in the EU?
