Yes, I think that's exactly what happened the radicals now control too much of the Dem Party's base; well that and the realization that none of the three Dem Party front runner candidates would have a chance against Trump in a head to head political contest without massive leftist cheating . . . like the DNC and Hillary did back in 2016 . . . and yet still lost. Impeachment and October Surprising the economy . . . are now their only hopes.

You dont have to take my word for it - the people who routinely insult his intelligence are the people who were closest to him.

And yes, he is a massive con-artist.

 

I had previously answered those questions and then you essentially re-asked them.

Trump lost a lot of seats because he was unpopular. Obama lost more seats because he was unpopular. The number of seats lost is linked to popularity, but it is not a perfect correlation.

Losing the majority in the house does not mean you should get impeached and trump's impeachment does not make future such events more likely.

He was officially impeached on December 18th...

 

I think the stupidity and hubris which resulted in the impeachment belongs solely in the camp of trump.

Remember that as recently as mid-September, almost no one believed that trump would be impeached in his first term. And then, recall the memorandum of the call that started all this. Trump made the call and asked for dirt on his political opponent the DAY AFTER MUELLER TESTIFIED.

Trump thought he was in the clear. He thought that Mueller's testimony meant there was no more of a threat to his presidency and so he figures that he can ask a foreign government to interfere in the US election.

One hope I have, even if he is acquitted, is that trump will forever view the stain of impeachment as an internal check for the next time he thinks about asking a foreign government to help him politically. Even if he is too ****ing corrupt or egotistical to believe that is what he is doing, hopefully some part of his brain will go, "You dont need this help, but others will think that is what you are doing - so just dont do it."

 

Even if she bought the argument from a minority of the experts about whether the delivery of the articles was a required step, those articles were delivered last week.

He is officially impeached.
