    Pence could pardon. But if trump was removed (unlikely, I’m not expecting it) he could also be barred from holding office again, although that’s not automatic from what I understand. But either way he’d have to win an election, Pence couldn’t just give him the job back.

    Too bad that much of the presentation was based on distortions of the facts.

    I'm not even going to bother to watch the rest of the Shiff show as I watched a fair amount of the original testimony.

    agree dems have all the facts on their side, but repubs will still vote not to fire Trump over his impeachment in the House, repubs do not care

    yep, Nixon's VP pardoned Nixon too, I am sure the same would happen here

    I think if Trump loses in 2020, he will resign so that his vp can pardon him too - I doubt he will take the chance that he could be charged after he leaves office - so Pence could be President for about a month
