Cool! Our government doesn't seem to be interested in exposing corruption. I guess that we'll have to rely on outsiders. We should probably have some outside agency monitor our elections, too.

That says a lot about how far we've fallen.

wondered why the quote was not in the op post, you would think that is the most important part to include when attacking a quote of someone

""As one witness put it during our impeachment inquiry, the United States aids Ukraine and her people so that we can fight Russia over there, and we don't have to fight Russia here," Schiff said, drawing rebukes from commentators across the political spectrum."

the reality is, Ukraine gave up their nukes because we promised to stand by them against Russia if they invaded, they kept the nukes to protect themselves from invasion by Russia, but gave them up because of our word

if we do not keep our word, why would any future country trust us and give up their nukes

AOC Says Earth Will End in 12 Years: Useful Idiocy

posted by Sandra Peterson - Jan 22, 2019

During a Martin Luther King Day event in New York City, our favorite Socialist cutie, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez uttered what could be her finest example of idiocy in her short, but rich, history of idiocy. She said that we had only 12 years to save the planet from climate change, or we were all going to die.

Yep. We are all going to die if we don’t get rid of fossil fuels and steal from all the billionaires.

    Yeah.
Obama's Supreme Court win rate is the worst since Zachary Taylor, study says
    by Ryan Lovelace
    | January 24, 2017 10:44 AM

A new study found President Obama had a historically low win rate at the Supreme Court that "may be the worst since the Zachary Taylor administration." Taylor's presidency lasted little more than a year, from 1849-1850.
    https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/...-is-the-worst-since-zachary-taylor-study-says

Zach was only in office for 18 months. Obama likely has the worst record for any full term President.

This legacy not only speaks to Obama's corruption, but the fact that he aspired to be king. He was a fascist ruler.

We'll speak to more stuff Obama should be proud of. The falling is being arrested by the current President. Rest easy.

I promised to continue my post about corruption and fascist tendencies displayed during the Obama regime. This next article is from what appears to be my first employer as a kid in NY delivering papers. I delivered the Long Island Press to 77 subscribers around 1960. Anyway, here's a take on Obama as a fascist:

As for Obama’s record, here’s what history will show: In his eight years in office, the Obama Justice Department spearheaded eight Espionage Act prosecutions, more than all US administrations combined. Journalists were also caught in the crosshairs: Investigators sought phone records for Associated Press journalists, threatened to jail an investigative reporter for The New York Times, and named a Fox News reporter a co-conspirator in a leak case. In Texas, a journalist investigating private defense contractors became the focus of a federal prosecution and was initially charged for sharing a hyperlink containing hacked information that had already been made public.
Those Espionage Act cases included the trial of Chelsea Manning, who was held in solitary confinement for nearly one year prior to her military trial, prompting a condemnation from the UN special rapporteur on torture.

“The absolute twisted passion with which the administration under Obama’s leadership has pursued whistleblowers is just appalling,” says Norman Solomon, executive director of the Institute for Public Accuracy and co-founder of RootsAction.org. “And as far as I can tell, the administration is unrepentant in that process. There’s just no other administration that comes close.”

Journalists’ concerns about their threatened rights became such a hot-button issue that Obama’s first US Attorney General Eric Holder had to publicly affirm that they would be spared from the confines of a metal cell under his watch.

“As long as I’m attorney general, no reporter who is doing his job is going to go to jail,” Holder said.

The frequency of Espionage Act cases under Obama has earned him the reputation of waging a “war on whistleblowers.” New York Times reporter James Risen has called Obama “the greatest enemy to press freedom in a generation.” Damning words, indeed.

You are saying this is the best Schiff is capable of, and I agree. He just doesn't know his own limitations.

You are confused, this was Obama kissing Putin's ass, not Trump. Obama speaking to Medvedev about how the Rusians need to be patient, cuz after he is reelected he can do more to disarm the US and make Russia stronger.

On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this can be solved, but it’s important for him to give me space,” Obama told Medvedev at a gathering in Seoul, South Korea.

Yeah, I understand,” said Medvedev, who was about to replaced by Putin as Russian president. “I understand your message about space. Space for you--"

This is my last election," Obama said. "After my election I have more flexibility.”

I understand," Medvedev said. "I will transmit this information to Vladimir."

Obama had to lie to the nation in order to get reelected, so he can betray the nation once it's too late for the people to stop him.

Foreign special interest group interference and outright payoff corruption in our government is very real. Trying to make it all about "muhrussia" is like a pickpocket having his buddy light a trashcan fire to draw attention away.

"Look! A Boris and Natasha Squirrel!"

Schiff is the new McCarthy, and that is -exactly- how non coopted history will remember him sooner rather than later, just far more dangerous and far less accurate.

So, for the sake of argument, are we going to pretend that Russian propaganda and Republican propaganda don’t seem to coincide more and more as we get into the Trump presidency? Are we to pretend that it wasn’t, an effort to further cover up the Russian help Trump received in 2016, that led Trump down the path that ultimately got him impeached?

I know that you get your government education from right wing rhetoric because no reputable college would ever so delude their students. One would have to be incredibly naive not to see that no witness is put on the stand, that the lawyers don’t already know what they are going to say. In any trial. It is the job of the lawyers to tell a narrative with the testimony. A testimony they already know.

I’m sure that John Bolton has some dirt that could be quite damaging to the president, and to many in the president’s circle.

He is more honest than George Washington and able to jump tall buildings in a single bound and think faster than a speeding bullet. The greatest bestest most fantasticest president we have ever had.

Not so with cross-examination, where good lawyers have an opportunity to challenge and potentially expose rehearsed lies.

What makes you think Bolton is trustworthy now?

The truth may be cracking the bubble, little by little. The facts keep knocking, louder, faster as more and more comes to light. As is common with cornered animals, rationality falls away and viciousness raises its ugly head.

Eventually you will get past the denial stage, but as Nixon put it, the country needs to know if their president is a crook or not.

I’ve been following him for some time. I don’t agree with him on most issues. In fact I think that he is a bit of a war criminal. That he, along with people like Eliot Abrams, were behind a lot of the death squads that plagued Central and South America in the eighties and beyond.

But at the same time, Bolton has never been known to be dishonest or deceptive. He is a true believer who thinks that he is doing the country’s work, that he is helping make America safe. I don’t think that Bolton would trade his integrity to save Trump.

Besides, throughout the witness testimony, it was Bolton that blew up the deal. It was he who told everyone to go see the lawyers, and quite possibly one of those who informed the whistleblower. A full view of what happened can’t be told without Bolton’s testimony, which is sure to mesh with what had been revealed so far.

Democrats think very highly of Putin.

Anyone find their Putin praise a bit odd?

Trump is Putin's puppet. All Putin's plan. They really seem to admire the guy. He's a master mind to them. They get flexible for him behind the scenes...
