Trump is facing the most serious impeachment allegations ever leveled against a sitting president - Matthew Rozsa, Salon

From the left wing blog Raw Story. With a Salon writer making the commentary. They somehow think the charges against Trump are more serious than Clinton's, lying in front of a Federal Grand Jury (felony) and encouraging a witness to lie in front of the same Federal Grand Jury (felony). I keep asking our left wing posters to tell us just what crimes Trump has committed and give us the statute. They never respond with the information.

Weird, I haven't experienced that until I came here and I voted for the guy twice. I suppose it's the company one keeps..

Amazing to listen to all the ways this President can be shown how he can be booted out of office and then Pence and all the Republicans can be snuck back into office anyway the can, all using the most crazy and slimy ways 45 can be back to do more to "drain the Swamp" and find more enemies of America to be bribed and threatened to make sure Republicans make sure their sad and pathetic leader, the greatest "super genius", the owner of the "best words", and of course "one of the highest IQs" ever known!

How could anyone think he isn't the Best!?

You’re mistaken. The pardon power does not extend to cases of impeachment.

heh... the name if this game isn't 'prove a crime.' Clinton was proven of a crime (purjory) and skated (and rightfully so, imo). The Senate (read jury) nullified it.

The name of this game is to convince the Senate to convict. Which the House Dems tried to do by accusing the Senate of a cover-up.

    Classic Dem!

Nobody who cares about America doubts that Trump is guilty as charged. Nobody with an interest in justice or truth doubts Trump is guilty. Nobody can doubt that Rudy Giuliani was complicit in this illegal act or that he and Trump will continue their attacks on the Constitution and rule of law. The argument is over, he did it and he will do it again and again.

Regardless of what the Republicans decide, the 70% Americans will be heard in November.

Liberals will still whine even if Trump is removed. It's their default setting if they don't control the White House...

Murkowski says she was insulted by pig nadless' accusation of a senate cover-up. Well, that'll be one more vote locked in for acquittal! :roflol:

I don't think either side is winning this. The percentages are almost identical from when the official hearings began on 13 Nov to today. On 13 Nov we had 48.5% for removal, 45.7% against, today according to RCP averages we have 47.4% for removal vs. 48.0% against.

    https://www.realclearpolitics.com/e...ment_and_removal_of_president_trump-6957.html

The biggest jump has been in Republicans against, rising from 80% on 13 Nov to 89% today. Democrats had a much smaller jump, going from 84% for removal to 86%. The battle for independents has been a wash. On 13 Nov independents were against removal 39-38 and today are still against by that same one point margin 46-45.

What I think has happened is America is suffering from impeachment fatigue. Only 11 million people watched some or part of the trial broadcast over six different stations. These had to be your hard core partisans who's minds have been made up since the day after the 2016 election. As for scoring political points, give us two weeks after the trial and those political points will have completely vanished.

I agree that Schiff made a strong argument. But it won't change the upcoming result. Winning only matters when the war is finished.

And the Russians are getting ready to storm the beaches of California.

LOL @ the phony "progressive" defenders of the Constitution and rule of law. The only thing they care about is power and everyone knows it. :boo:

Ah. The fact you care means more than the facts - or in this case, the lack thereof - at hand.
    Got it.
    Thanks.

He won't be charged. There's literally nothing to charge him with. Democrats impeached him because they hate him, not because he broke the law.

Sad thing is, there are people who actually read that and believe it because they're too lazy to research that which they don't want to know.

Once again, it's like things are the exact opposite in your world.

And 70% of America, including illegals, is 234,500,000. Are you sure that's how many will be heard? That's over 100,000,000 more than we heard in 2008 and 2016, the two most voted for elections.
