Just because the ICIG made a determination doesn't mean that determination is set in stone forever if more information comes to light or makes that any additional information unusable in the impeachment proceedings.

You must have missed the 17 witnesses who testified during the public hearings of the Intelligence Committee.

That's not a lawyer making a real legal argument.

The fact that she keeps making terrible arguments while she attempts to tell experienced lawyers that she knows the law better than they do is sort of amusing, though.

You do realize that an OLC Opinion is not legal precedent, right?

Those were piss-poor arguments, and he cited to zero authority. His unsupported musings that the House was magically required to go to court to enforce the "sole power of impeachment" is facially nonsense. The "sole power" means just that--it is entitled to make demands, and if the demands are refused, it constitutes obstruction of Congress per se.

It's only given credence by people with no legal training. And that's who it's directed at.

You wouldn't. You didn't read or care about the Mueller Report, and you haven't followed and didn't care about the House impeachment inquiry.

You implied that you do not believe the Whistleblower Complaint has been independently verified and confirmed, in its near totality.

    *LOL*

You mean that you don't enjoy reading actual citations which support my posts?

P.S. I make that claim whenever it is apparent that posters have no clue what the Mueller Report says. Sadly, it's with some frequency.

The dems, and anyone who is honest knows that that challenge would take 3-4 years to get thru the court system.

    You would be wrong.

The house followed the rules set by REPUBLICANS when John Boehner wanted to go after Hillary. Thats a simple fact that you guys always seem to leave out

And PLEASE stop with that BS that republicans were allowed any rights in the House hearings. When Goetz and the other clowns stormed the hearing in the capital basement screaming to the press about not being "included", there were republican IN that hearing room. I think that you must believe that if you keep repeating that lie it will come true, but im sorry to break your heart there dorothy, but even the ruby slippers wont take you there

    What were the "lies"?

You also seem to have forgotten that the record from the House contains the testimony from a number of witnesses, as well as documentary evidence.

Hillary was never elected President and subject to impeachment. Were the Republicans allowed to call any witnesses they wanted and ask any questions they wanted?

That he had clear and conclusive evidence of Russian collusion and then of course the false narrative of the Ukraine phone call and then his claims Trump asked Zelensky to dig up dirt to make things up.

Anyone who is honest knows the SCOTUS would fast track it and it will take just as long in the Senate as it would it the House that is just another Democrat canard.
