So you were wrong. Documents were released, namely, the actual phone conversation.

Which exonerated President Trump in all of this.

And then in court said that congress has no standing lol
Who does the constitution give the power of impeachment to? Congress or the courts?

As far as Ukraine and foreign corruption which investigation had more probable cause of corruption?

    And

Document reveals Ukraine had already reopened probe of Hunter Biden-linked firm months before Trump phone call

A newly unearthed document shows that Ukrainian officials had opened a new probe into the firm linked to Hunter Biden months before President Trump's phone call with that country's leader, Fox News contributor John Solomon reported late Tuesday.

Solomon said Tuesday on "Hannity" that the U.S. government knew Ukraine was planning to look again into activities at Burisma Holdings, an energy company that employed then-Vice President Joe Biden's son as a member of its board of directors, early this year. The report is noteworthy because President Trump has been accused by Democrats of threatening in July to withhold foreign aid to Ukraine unless its new president pursued an investigation into the company and the younger Biden's role there.

"The U.S. government had open-source intelligence and was aware as early as February of 2019 that the Ukrainian government was planning to reopen the Burisma investigation," he claimed. "This is long before the president ever imagined having a call with President Zelensky," he added, noting Petro Poroshenko was still Ukraine's president at that time.

So trump withheld their aid to get them to do something they were already doing?
And Ukraine said this was false and they were not invesigating.

Has no standing to access on demand for documents on internal deliberations? They don't. And the Constitution gives plenary power of foreign policy to the President and then of course the history of executive privilege going back to Washington. The Democrats had every chance to go to court and challenge it.

To make sure the incoming administration would continue to do so, seems quite pragmatic to me and offering our aid according to treaty.

Trump has never asserted executive privilege, so this is factually wrong.

Good grief, this is supposed to be about "abuse of power" and the witnesses and obstructing Congress. It's starting out with MORE repetition from yesterday and now lies about the withholding had an effect on Ukraine militarily, aid DEMOCRATS HAD OPPOSED.

    Turning on the radio.

He has never asserted EP in relationship to any of the 2019 investigations... he has used it before in his administration, possibly even validly...

On to a repetition of yesterday and eveyone tuning out. And the fact remains the Democrats are now crying about how the Ukraines were fighting a war and how this aid was vital and withholding it was causing thousands of deaths when they had opposed it at all.

They issued one and then recalled it, they never challenged him in court so he had no need for an "official" or whatever you want to call it declaration everyone knew why testimony was being opposed. executive privilege.

    They issued Dozens.

He did not invoke executive privilege because you have to APPEAR in order to exert EP.

No, he asserted Absolute Immunity - not executive privilege.

Please, please, learn that very simple fact.

This is overkill. The Senate gave each side 24 hours to make their case, initially that was to be over 2 days. Schumer moved to make it 24 hours over 3 days, not 2 days and that was voted positively. Would have been easier on everyone to take two extremely long grueling days rather than 3 grueling days....even if it's the same amount of time.

Plus, just because they have up to 24 hours, the Democrats think they have to grandstand and fill every single second of that 24 hours. All they're doing is repeating, repeating, repeating. And all the video clips are really boring to those of us who already watched the 100 hours of testimony from the House inquiry, since they are only showing witnesses responding to House Democrat questions.

I've heard Jay Sekulow say he doesn't know yet how much of the 24-hours Trump's defense will take. I expect them to be more sensible though. They'll make their points and sit down, whether that's 8, 12 or 20 hours. I don't expect them to torture the Senators, Judge Roberts, or the public viewers.

Oh well. The process is what it is, and it will be over soon enough.

Yes keep investigating until you find something that helps trump lol
In May, Lutsenko told Bloomberg News that his office had found no evidence of wrongdoing against Hunter Biden or his father, Joe Biden, who'd helped to oust Lutsenko's predecessor.
