139 those twelve people are purposefully putting the phrase "meaningful or substantive degree." Did they show their metrics on what they believe constitutes meaningful or substantial? Notice they didn't just categorically deny it they used qualifiers

    146 is your opinion

In their defense, they're not real bright.

***Dear Censors: Yes, I am speaking of the Democrat's in Congress that are public figures. Not all Democrats inclusive of the vertebrate and invertebrate kinds.***

Are you watching Lofgren, by any chance?? She's ****ing nailing all the arguments we've been making... The McGahn argument hypocrisy, delay, Meirs.... Great stuff... her best moment this week (that I've seen)

She just quoted Lindsey from 1999 about Nixon ignoring subpoenas..

    Classic...

Except she left out the part where he was talking about subpoenas enforced after going to the courts that were investigating an actual crime.

    Other than that, sure.

You think that Trump defense will quote Nancy Pelosi Laurence Tribe and Chuck Schumers stance during 1998? If that does happen will that be brilliant as well?

Bummer he didn't make your bullshit exceptions at the time...

    SNIP
“Article III of impeachment against Richard Nixon was based on the idea [he] failed to comply with subpoenas of Congress. Congress was going through its oversight function to provide oversight of the president. When asked for information, Richard Nixon chose not to comply and the Congress back at that time said, ‘You’re taking impeachment away from us. You’re becoming the judge and jury. It is not your job to tell us what we need. It is your job to comply with the things we need to provide oversight over you. The day Richard Nixon failed to answer that subpoena is the day that he was subject to impeachment because he took the power of Congress away from Congress and became the judge and jury.”

And again, he was referring to subpoenas that had been adjudicated by the courts AND HE STILL HELD THE EVIDENCE IN A CRIMINAL CASE.

I can type more slowly if that helps.

And again, I posted what he said... it stands on its own... your interpretations of what Lindsey was referring to are fun, but ultimately meaningless....

No, it does not. It is a lie.

In May of 1974 Congress subpoenaed the tapes from Nixon, Nixon claimed executive privilege.

On July 24th, the Supreme Court ordered all tapes and documents turned over.

On July 27th, the House drafted the articles of impeachment after Nixon refused to turn over all evidence after he was ordered to do so by SCOTUS.

If you think this is the same thing as this impeachment, something went wrong in your thought process.

He looks forward to future Democrat support.

Sometime in 1999, Lindsey Graham said

"The day Richard Nixon failed to answer that subpoena is the day that he was subject to impeachment because he took the power of Congress away from Congress and became the judge and jury.”

What day did Nixon fail to answer that subpoena? May 1974 or July 27th, 1974??

If he had said "The day Richard Nixon ignored the SCOTUS" or words to that effect, you might have a case...

I dont think it is the same. Nixon permitted all of his White House staff to testify. Trump ordered all of his to remain silent and then declared he could assert Absolute Immunity to keep them from even showing up to testify.

They didnt tell you whether Trump would ever be impeached? Maybe try asking the Supreme Court of Germany?

Sounds like Democrats should have went to court huh.

Takes to long to get rid of people that way though I suppose. Can't be bothered with that.

Would you like me to remind you about the involvement by the Judicial branch or would you like to keep pretending that didn't happen?

The Democrats are currently in the courts challenging Trump on this very issue.

The most authoritative ruling comes to us from a judge you said is going to be "curb stomped" - presumably because the Supreme Court of Taiwan told you such.
