He was impeached on a partisan vote. He didn't do anything wrong the Senate will exonerate him and the Democrats will twist and withe in rage some more.

Just let it go, they got nothing. He won it's over the Democrats need to quit being stupid and focus on the next election.

The temper tantrum is costing them.

If you want to call Trump serving another 5 years "continuing trouble", that's ok with me. Trump will continue to advance the interests of poor and working-class Americans.

Close Congressional scrutiny? Is that why Hillary set up a private, secret server to escape such scrutiny? And you voted for her anyway, right? Lol. Thanks for the lesson in hypocrisy.

Naughty! There is some Forum Rule about that, but fear not. I don't care what Hillary did. She is not POTUS. No, I did not vote for her at all, and would not have if I could have. Get it?

Robert, surely it is impeachable in any man's language for POTUS to use the money in your pocket to benefit himself, yes?

Nope... You simply can't charge someone over and over again if you don't like the initial outcome.

The House would have to establish, "Manifest Weight," which would involve an evaluation of the clear weight of the evidence.

In other words, if the the House would want to bring the same charges, the House Judiciary Committee would have to go to a court of competent jurisdiction for a judicial review of the evidence and process of the initial proceedings.

The chances of this happening would be slim to none.

Nah.....this is a 'political' process (one I reckon is appalling)....and not a judicial one. The House can keep doing Trump for as long as they wish.......sensibly, only if there is something new.

Yes, the evidence however is that hevdid not do that.

This is 100% about Trump's motivations.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with him asking for investigations in regards to Bidens or the DNC operations in Ukraine.

For this to be impeachable the Democrats have to prove that Trump was motivated by winning in 2020, aka personal gain.

However there is a significant and extremely plausible motivation for Trump to do this.. he us angry and upset by the crap that the Democrats did in the run up to 2016.

    In short 2020. Impeachable
    2016. Not impeachable.

It's that simple. The Democrats have not given any evidence to Trump's motives. Democrats presume the only reason for wanting investigations is dirt for 2020 and therefore assume Trump's guilt and that's simply wrong.

    In short Democrats blew it.

Sorry, Robert. The evidence is overwhelming that he did exactly that, and Bolton's evidence (if we can believe the schmedia) will put the icing on the cake.

Do you believe trump would have demanded an investigation and withheld aid if Biden was not running against him, yes or no?

Perhaps for a different reason, but not over the same exact issue as falcon61 implied.

Section One of the 14th Amendment places the need for judicial, "Manifest Weight," review of any finding, either conviction or acquittal, before another process over the same issue could be launched as per the equal protection clause.

Yeas, the double jeopardy common law issue. BUT...impeachment is all political, and nothing to do with the judicial (including common law) process. It is its own beast, and it is a disgraceful one.

Absolutely because Trump spends nearly every waking minute being foul. He has a foul mouth, his actions are foul, his tweets are foul so yeah, we' ll still be calling foul as long as he holds a position of trust.

Your honesty is admirable. But surely you realize, that position doesn't engender any sort of compromise on the part of your opposition... Its either your way or no way.

Why do you support government officials setting up private servers on which to conduct the people's business? Is it because your loyalty is to the Democratic Party and you'll support their crime and corruption no matter how badly they cheat and screw us?

    If the
Democrats lose the House, then Trump gets to do whatever he wants with the USA. That's fantastic, but...you get what you vote for Team USA.

Civil is subjectively percieved. Compromise is for when others don't percieve like you do.
