He later gave it lip service, while defending his original statement!!

    And, he's done absolutely nothing.

And, it's not just an act of omission. His adviser on immigration and other issues of minorities in our borders is Stephen Miller - who has claimed to be a white supremacist himself.

That was his selection. And, he hasn't done anything about that - which would surely have to be one of his first steps if he believed whiter supremacists are a problem.

When did he claim to be a white supremacist?

don't think that was the issue of the day, the issue that was being addressed at the time

when inter-racial marriage was allowed, why not intra-gender at the same time? why was inter-religious marriage done at a separate time as well

my guess, because if one tries to bite off more than they can chew, none of those freedoms would have been granted, it's a slow process, sad but true

Yeah that's a fair point. Although it doesn't mean that he doesn't FEEL upset, it's just that he doesn't want to express it in public. It's clear that he would risk losing votes.

mainly segregation, but other stuff was also added in addressing other discriminations

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civil_Rights_Act_of_1964

"The Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Pub.L. 88–352, 78 Stat. 241, enacted July 2, 1964) is a landmark civil rights and labor law in the United States that outlaws discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.[4] It prohibits unequal application of voter registration requirements, and racial segregation in schools, employment, and public accommodations."

So it doesn't sound like you are one of these Trump Derangement Syndrome sufferers who thinks that Trump is a white supremacist.

guess I do not know why then, it was in other parts, maybe because religion doesn't pay taxes - I can't qualify for the church credit or faith based initiates, if that was in there, then every group should qualify, even secular groups

You're right obviously, that all of those categories are contained in at least parts of the Civil Rights Act, but it's just odd that it doesn't apply to every Title. And where it says, "it prohibits unequal application of voter registration requirements, and racial segregation in schools, employment, and public accommodations" - well that's not all that the Civil Rights Act does, given that Title VI has nothing to do with any of that.

Okay so now you are referring to him as a mere "adviser." Earlier you referred to him as the dude "in CHARGE of our immigration system."

The person Imentioned is said to be the one designing our approach to immigrants.

Today, much of our government is being run by people who haven't been confirmed and come and go like a revolving door.

Have you seen the list of things Jared Kushner is said to have control of? And, he didn't even qualify for adequate clearance, let alone hold a recognized post.

There are 115 positions requiring confirmation where the official has not been confirmed.

This is just one more case of Trump actively avoiding how our government is suposed to operate.
