Withholding the aid breaks the law written in 1974. However that law has written into it it's own legal remedy.
Withholding the aid all on it's own is not an impeachable offense.

Let's go back to the phone call for a second.
A clear reading of the transcript shows he was asking for the investigation on behalf of the American people, not just himself.
That is not bribery, thats just playng hardball politics.

Now if you could find say an email between Trump and one of his staff saying something like. " man. Biden is really breathing down my neck here. We need to do something! Get Zaleski to say he is investigating Biden or Burisma or something associated with Democrats. "

That would be bribery as he is getting something for personal gain, in this case more time in the white house.

 

You are absolutely correct, but it has nothing to do with Trump. The Democrats and the left will never lose their hatred of Trump and will never give up the fight to throw him out of office. If they keep control of the House, certainly. But even if they don't they will push for more impeachments as they did during Trump's first two years in office when Republicans controlled the House. I would not be terribly surprised if they even pushed for an ex post facto impeachment after his 8 years as president.

 

At its core this is a struggle between the pathogenic ideas of socialism and communism and those who hate everything those ideas stand for.
