More Crapola by a kook blog and the NY Slimes. Bolton hasn't verified any of it and my be playing the deep state leakers for fools. What ever will they do, if Bolton comes out publically and says he didn't write that in his manuscript. The folks claiming it is will bite it big time.

My hunch is that Bolton is going to take Trump down. Bolton is a genuine member of the Deep State, and it is the Deep State that wants Trump out.

Though I am afraid of Pence, I too want Trump out.

You had your chance and you chose not to wait for the courts. The Senate has no reason to accomodate you on a theory that isn't even illegal.

Don't think so; because unless Bolton has got proof of an actual crime under the law of real significance then it's just a political hack trying to make a profit off his book. The political Left always stake these things on people who practice hearsay against this president rather than collect actionable proof. Then they wonder why they keep losing cases.

Given the current situation in Republican politics, I have no idea where this might land. Two days ago I bet on "not guilty,' today who knows? One thing I feel is true - if this takes Trump down, he will take the GOP with him.

and replace him with who? Bernie Sanders?

Trump isn't going anywhere even if John Bolton says the President intentionally withheld aid to get Joe Biden investigated. Biden still committed crimes that need to be looked into. Hunter Biden, his coke snorting son, may be on the hook for tax evasion and fraud. I think these matters are worth investigating.

In the swamp on the Potomac, proof is meaningless. They've been tied up in knots ever since the false Steele Dossier and Russiagate. There was no proof for any of that, yet it consumed much energy and time for the idiots in government.

I'm betting Bolton's testimony, and it may be a true statement he makes, will be the straw to break the camel's back.

You're probably right. Only time will tell. Washington does not punish crimes committed by high officials.

    Right.

Bolton was a crazed neo-con. Now he’s a wise old sage of foreign relations.

Recall that Barack did his old buddy Dubya a major favor by declaring that he would do no investigating of the many crimes of the Bush administration.

My earlier statement stands: those inside the Beltway, those on both sides of the aisle, protect each other.

What crimes did Bush commit? I guarantee you, if Bush had done half of what Obama did Bush and his cabinet would be brought up on serious charges. Obama was vindictive to a fault and even went after journalists that wrote unflattering articles about him. The left has always been heavy handed in corruption while the right has been lenient.

Anyway, this is way off topic. I hope Trump stays in office and wins again in 2020. I just don't see anyone, in either party, that could do a better job. In fact. I think Trump and his accomplishments are among the best I have ever seen from a President.

Do you think the Senators can not or should not be able to review evidence like the GAO Report or this news report regarding Bolton? If you don't, how would you like to keep the Senators from reading the news?

How did Reid's removal of the filibuster for judicial nominees work out for ya?

So you'd be cool with him testifying under oath, right? Just to make sure that's what he said and have the ability to put his credibility to cross examination?

No problem, you'll get this when questioned......"On the advice of my attorney executive privilege has been invoked over my conversations and documents with the President". Next up the Biden's.
