The surprises.... or rather "surprises"... have started in the GOP. They didn't know.

They didn't know that Bolton had written a book

They didn't know that Trump was using his personal attorney to broker the "drug deal" with Zelensky

They didn't know that Barr, Nunes and others also participated in the "drug deal"

They didn't know that the prosecutor in the Burisma case was fired (in part) because he stopped (not because he started) investigating Burisma... and other corporations.

They didn't know that Rupert Murdoch's own Wall Street Journal reported that Biden was part of an anti-corruption campaign in Ukraine. (https://www.wsj.com/articles/bidens...rlapped-with-sons-work-in-country-11569189782)

They didn't know that the removal of the prosecutor had been demanded by the EU and many western leaders

They didn't know that Bolton had information that would fry Trump.

How would they know these things that any moderately informed person has known for month? How could they know when Fox was the only network that wouldn't report them? Did they expect them to watch real news?

They just found out. But it won't change their vote to save Trump anyway. So... nothing has changed. Other than they have made themselves look even more foolish.

    What hypocrites!

And more "surprises" to come. Not surprises to well informed Americans. But certainly to them.

More exaggeration. It is impossible to know what they know or do not know.

I agree that it is impossible to know what another knows or doesn't. But if they did know many of these things (ie. 'They didn't know that the removal of the prosecutor had been demanded by the EU and many western leaders'), they certainly hid that fact well. Why would that be?

I do not know what other people know or do not know and I doubt that anyone else does.

Damn Straight! You think a dirty rigged unfair farce of a congressional hearing is gonna get you a fair senate trial? Guess again! Perhaps your buddy the SchiffMeister should have considered this before running a shady trial with closed door dress rehearsal witness training. It sucks when the other side plays dirty too, doesn't it? and as you said, Ain't nothing gonna change. DEAL!

Typical golem 3 parts hyperbole five parts let's pretend 2 parts wah Trump. Ignoring completely the fact that every Dem in DC thought it at least off putting that Hunter and Devon went to work for a company that was under investigation for money laundering at the time and not long after the case gets dropped.

It's not "impossible". You can know it by their public statements!

So each and everyone of the republicans know or do not know as you stated. Like I said, it is just another one of your exaggerations. If ou can't convince without exaggeration, you have already lost the argument.

What he does is not much different from what he accuses Trump of doing.

Sometimes I don't think you even know what you are saying. You had seven items on your list. There are fifty three republican senators. That means there are 371 items that you would have to be right about. And you claim that is not an exaggeration. How is that different from all the lies you claim Trump tells. He exaggerates the size of a crowd and you call it a lie, etc. The more I think about the junk you write, the more absurd you become.

Where shall we start? See that shiny ball up in the sky? That's the Sun. The other smaller one you usually see at night is the Moon.

Oh... and Trump is a proven criminal who is illegally stonewalling Congress because, he hopes, that way Republican Senators won't find out.

I think that should be enough for now....

That is new. I didn't know that Trump had been convicted of anything.

If the junk I write inspires you to think... that's progress. Step two would be to get you to include logic and facts in the process so you may one day start thinking rationally. We have a loooong way to go.

Don't flatter yourself. You write an incredible amount of junk. I don't bother commenting on most of it because it isn't worth the effort.

The House had it's full 'game on' and told everything afterwards. So exactly what is Trump hiding from the Senate? And remember here in the good old USA no one is a proven criminal until they have been found guilty in a court of law by a jury.

Wrong! When you are found guilty in a court of law by a jury, you are a "convicted criminal".

In the end, nothing will be hidden. If Republicans are successful in thwarting Bolton's testimony the results are predictable. The book will be leaked, some already has. The book will be published in mid March. Once the book is out questions will keep falling on Trump, but mostly Republicans like Chinese water torture.

Why did you block Bolton's testimony?
Who are you representing, Trump or me?
What else are you covering up?
    Did you know about this?
What else is out there? Who else will surface?
Why is McConnell blocking all House legislation?
What is McConnell's tie to the President?
    Etc.

This will be an extension of the coverup and it will grate on Republicans like long fingernails on a blackboard. I will go on and on all the way to November and it will paint the Republican Party as the Party of Trump and the most corrupt political party in the history of America.

Republican worries about Senate elections ignored the impact on House elections. It will be large.

There is one major problem with what you said. They have talked about impeaching Trump from the day he was elected. The democrats have come up with multiple reasons to do it. When one didn't pan out, they would just move to something new. It is getting to the point that many of us do not believe anything the democrats say or whatever witness they drag up.

That no longer matters. Seventy five percent of Americans want more witnesses. The GOP fights this and the public will be reminded of this day after day by new revelations about Trump and Republican corruption. A majority of Americans want Trump gone. That will be amplified as the coverup becomes exposed.

Bolton's book will be published in March. If the White House attempts to thwart publication (they will because they so f*****g stupid) the public will be outraged at the coverup. Then Bolton will go on Meet the Press and spill the beans on Trump. If Republicans had any ability to consider the unintended consequences of their actions (they don't) they would let Bolton, et. al. testify rather than reaping the hellacious windstorm that's coming their way. This election is no longer about Trump, it's about the corrupt GOP. I give the GOP a fifty percent chance of survival as a political party.
