I think Trumps acquittal will be bipartisan.

A lot will depend on whether Moscow Mitch can keep Bolton from testifying.

What's wrong with the case Democrats passed in Congress? It seems like it is lacking...

I watched a little of the house managers and a little of the Trump defense.

imo the house managers spent most of their effort talking to the MSM and general public, and the Trump defense spent most of their effort talking to senators.

We should know soon which is the wiser tack, that is, if there will be 67 votes to convict or not.

The house made the same case we've been hearing for the last 3 months. It's boring. Their case needs new blood.

The Hill is reporting the GOP is confident it has enough Senators to block more witnesses.

That's what they say, that there wasn't really any clear and present danger, and that their case really wasn't unassailable, and that they really need to drag it on.

The Mockingbird Marxist Media is going to be very disappointed that they weren't able to bully enough senators.

Yeah, good old 'What's His Name' had his thumb on a lot of people. Trouble is trump pi**ed off Bolton and Bolton has decided he'd like to play.

Why didn't the house call Bolton? They didn't need Bolton to pass impeachment.

They wanted to be done wit it before Christmas, and knew they couldn't get a conviction anyway.

They are happy as long as they are squawking.

They thought their merry impeachmess joke was going to be a hit. They could have got Bolton to testify then but thought they didn't need him.

Trump will be acquitted with a bipartisan vote and house democrats will be treated for being bipolar.

Bolton will keep himself from testifying. Bolton will make 100 times more money from his book if he doesn’t say a word. It’s the old “if we know the ending plot than why watch the movie” theory. I wonder who the publisher is for Bolton’s upcoming book?

Why? Bolton will simply either plead the 5th of claim that the conversations and documents are subject to executive privilege.

not acquit, they may vote not to fire him over his bad deeds though, many feel dems have a better chance if Trump runs in 2020 as it's a easy win as will get the dem vote out

Trump was already impeached, I am good with that, I know conservatives will not vote to fire him anyways, there new defense is... yeah, he did it, but who cares

Biden will agree to talk only about those things related to what Trump did as a precondition, of course Biden knows nothing about what Trump did other than what you and I know as he was not involved in it

just like Trump's witnesses will not talk about things not related to the case

does anyone think this will be a free for all for dems to ask witnesses anything and everything not related to the case at hand... or republican do the same

Trump on the other hand will never speak under oath about anything, be great to ask him if he ever cheated on his wife though
