You have to laugh any time a democrat spouts the Constitution and the rule of law.

The left had made it perfectly clear, abundantly clear and crystal clear that this charade had nothing to do with the law and everything to do with the hatred of Donald Trump. Since the day he took office the left has cried for impeachment, if the left had any ethics then everyone who called for his impeachment during the last 3 years should have recused themselves. If the left had any integrity they would have gotten rid of Schiff a long time ago. And if the left really believed the law applied to everyone equally, then they would have impeached Obama for the laws he broke, his unethical behavior and his lack of integrity. And they certainly would not have nominated and then voted for Clinton who has done things that would have put anyone of us in prison had we done the same. But the left praises criminals when those criminals are their criminals.

 

Pelosi is just another Progressive liar. She needs to be kicked to the curb. She serves herself, not the public.

Here's the thing about liberal types, they would go bonkers if someone said something negative about Muslims, they'd report those kinds of posts to the mods until their inboxes were full. Then they'd call the person who made the post a hater, a racist and an islamophobe. At that moment, all those leftists would be doing is obeying orders and acting upon their feelings. It was Warren and whomever asked Roberts if he was aware that a Chief Justice could vote in an impeachment that are self humiliating.

 

The Chief Justice cannot throw out senate rules. If a motion is brought he cannot disallow a vote on the motion. He could conceivably chastise a senator for not abiding by senate rules, or call the majority leader forward to take action.

There was a senator who put anguish and dismay on the Chief Justice's face, but it was not McConnell, nor was it another man.

 

This person Lauren Egan who wrote this garbage for MSN - NBC News is factually incorrect on several of her assumptions. I expect fake news from MSNBC but this writer is so backwards her head must be screwed on backwards. She mentioned Pelosi but it was actually Warren who insulted Judge Roberts. McConnell did not humiliate Roberts. Roberts in fact made that clear to Schemer by telling him at the bench for everyone to hear that it would be inappropriate for the Chief Justice to intervene as a tie breaker, Roberts: "unelected official from a different branch of government". That's not his function in Senate impeachment trials.

She also got it wrong about Murkowski's quote: "It has also become clear some of my colleagues intend to further politicize this process, and drag the Supreme Court into the fray, while attacking the Chief Justice," She was pointing her reasoning at democrats. That's why she voted in favor of NO witnesses with other republicans.

It should be very clear to anyone with half a brain to realize that what Schiff hid behind closed doors was inappropriate and invalid without any due process on the part of the accused. He was a fact witness himself and should have recused himself from the Senate impeachment trial.

Pelosi is not a lawyer, only an old partisan hack that doesn't understand the constitution much less her own house rules and procedures.

That doesn't mean the Democrats as a whole have to select her as a party leader and more importantly as the Speaker. She thought McConnell 'humiliated' Roberts? No more than she's humiliated the United States with the impeachment vote and her subsequent statements.

 

No Sir, Pelosi knows the rules. She just mistakenly thought that the Mockingbird Marxist Media could render enough aid to get her around the rules, so she took the risk and she lost.
