It's already been decided in court. I didn't veer anywhere.

And this is the problem. Imagine, 10-15 years from now as the US demographic changes(and before you start, I'm not saying the demographic change itself is the issue), it's the politics. Mexican-Americans can now demand and assert(should one be high enough as President) to have better(read: favorable relations for Mexico) relations with Mexico. We could see the ceding of New Mexico and California back to the Mexicans(and BTW, this is a lot more realistic than Alaska being sold, or Kushner getting some sweet heart deal.)

In the splinter of demographic power, minority groups empowered and emboldened by their status will increasingly balkanize. And with European-Americans essentially neutered due to actions by the English-Americans of the 18th century, that will add to the equilibrium of political struggles.

The solution is not "no immigrants", but to return to a regulatory form of immigration. Calm the wave down as we assimilate and grow the American character.

Either we unify the country, or the country will eventually break apart. But not necessarily in strife, it will be silent, it will be gradual and it will be sudden.

Barr recently deported a number of sympathizers of that attack, and called if for what it was, a terror attack. None of this 'workplace violence' garbage like Obama said.

Muslims are the first immigrant group to think their culture to be superior to ours. The tenants of Islam are antithetical to our democracy. Muslim immigration isn't working out so well in Europe. What happens when 51% of the population of Manchester votes for Sharia Law? So your German immigrant analogy fails.
