First off Rush deserves this award. Secondly it was a nice thing for Trump to do. Third it was an excellent in your face to the left wing media which Rush has provided a counterbalance to.

It was awesome watching his reaction when the President told him he'd be getting the Medal of Freedom. I can't think of a better patriot to give such an award to.

 

I'd complain about a racist piece of **** getting an award, but them I remember he'll be dead soon so I smile.

 

Exactly. But it's not even about the snub in the left's face. Rush actually fits the mold of the kind of person who should receive this award.

I don’t wish cancer, suffering or death on anyone but this “award” being given to this man is a slap in the face to the astronauts, soldiers, scholars, missionaries and others that sacrificed so much of themselves to better humanity.
