*I'm surprised that we did not move forward like everyone else in communications hardware knowing that 5G will be the next big money making movement in the world. Not to mention that we would need such tech if we wanted to keep up with the rest of the world in high speed communication.
    * I'm not sure in this case that we transferred 5G tech to China when they we the first to submit most of the patents, and its not just like we are behind JUST China in this field.
    * It's surprising to me we complain, but American companies did not invest to do it ourselves without say European or South Korean companies. Barr considering buying a large share in Nokia is a part of that. Maybe it was to easy for American companies to continue making money off 4G tech and infrastructure to be worried about the next big thing that was not coming by surprise.

I am pretty sure both companies have legal restrictions that prevent them from being sold to another company or nation. I worked at Ericsson for a few years and I remember them saying that Sweden considers them a critical Swedish asset and would never let them be acquired.

I sourced my view, now you source yours. Show some peer reviewed studies with a large sample size showing the damage 5G spectrum does to human bodies in a practical setting.

I think it's pretty much as it is now.
The problem the US created for itself was it limited the frequencies used for longer range communication, thus requiring more towers.

The point is, as by its absence you have confirmed, there have been no studies done by government or the industry bringing us 5G, on the effects 5G will have on the health of humans or other species.

THAT is the point, and you have made it. There have been no such studies.

As to the harm that radiation causes humans, I hope you're not insinuating there is no harm from radiation.

There have been plenty of studies regarding non-ionising radiation of which the 5G band is a component and no dire health effects have ever been found.

You are surrounded by non-ionising radiation every instant of the day. All our technology works based on it - radio, cellular tech, even visible light.

Even ionising radiation is overrated as a health trigger. Just look at New England, which is surrounded by Granite and receives a large dose on the daily.

Bottom line - you are far safer in Florida surrounded by millions of 5G devices than in a cabin in the woods in New England circa 1680AD.

Awesome! Terrific news! Can you show me some of those studies and tests, or am I to take your word for it when dozens of scientists from around the world seem to disagree with your optimistic assertion?

Since my position is the default, show me some of your studies then I'll show you some of mine.

There are no studies sir. On that point we agree. Neither you nor the industry can show any evidence that 5G will cause no harm.

Meanwhile, decades of common sense and science regarding the harms of radiation are well known. Radiation kills cancer cells, and it kills other cells too. If you don't understand that, we're wasting time here.

Ionising radiation kills cells. Non ionising radiation cannot.

LOL, and if you're a cop operating an old fashioned radar gun, don't rest it in your crotch.

If I did, it would die of thermal effects not cancer, which has not been demonstrated to be possible with non ionising radiation of which microwaves are a subset.

Anytime you damage tissue repeatedly you increase the risk.
But actually I was just trying to make a funny. :)
But it is interesting that 5G is operating at the same frequencies as the old "radar" guns.

Sounds like you better avoid the old bath then, that repeatedly heats up your tissue.

Government has no business doing this. Anathema.

I like my nice warm bath. I know right where to set the facet to get the perfect temperature..
But for real pleasure there is nothing like an old radar gun in your lap.
The comforting warmth and the gentle hum.
