Interesting. Although it's unfortunate that getting the information depended on providing false hope of support to the funeral home.

 

Given that the flu season is very higher than normal, this anecdotal claims here don't seem to do than a lot more than flu deaths plus extra Coronavirus deaths.

The current deaths in China are supposedly a 50 times more than the 1000 deaths officially tabulated yesterday, a 50,000 deaths.

The kinds of these discussing the deaths would barely add up to the very busy Flu deaths plus 10,000 or 15,000 Coronavirus deaths.

But there is no need to rush these death totals. The Coronavirus deaths are increasingly expanding so much that 5 more days could reach this larger number.

I was correcting the reference, not yet saved. But I am used to depending on the autosave but it was gone after I went to a different page to get the reference.

So I've dived into their website and it looks like they more or less support whatever policy on the issue has been promulgated by the government concerned. So it 'supports China's programs in China, Australian policies in Australia and the US in the US etc. All very apolitical and more but more or less pointless in terms of arriving at a consensus about what measures should be put in place on a global scale.

 

Also a scientific report I saw today speculates that the source of the virus might no be the markets accused of being at the epicenter of the plague but instead a Chinese Government viral research centre about 600 meters from the market.

Apparently that center works with infected bats from outside the local region and their are no migratory routes for these bats across the the City where the market is located. It expresses concerns that researchers who handle the bats are regularly bitten by them and in this case did not put themselves into quarantine for long enough - taking the virus out with them when they left.

 

I think that I take them even LESS seriously now! At least before they STOOD for something!
